In
our
TEE-Blble Institute
Programs
we
hold
seminars at
the beginning
of
each book. These seminar s
include
preparation
for
the
new book,
lessons
fo r
student
preachers
and general lessons for the
Church to
meet or answer
specif ic needs .
The specific need voiced
by the
Church is
about
a lack
of unity.
Our problem is that we
have
people,
Chr is tians, who
are dividing
th e Church
because
of pride
and
jealousy.
One
Christian
or Elder,
or
Preacher, sees
another who has
a
posit ion of responsibil ity,
a
gift,
and
he
becomes j ea lous and responds
to
th e other by
s tr iking out.
The manner of attack here
is
by let te rof accusation delivered
during
one
of th e
Church s
regional meetings. The letters are
never
signed and most,
if
not
all, of
th e accusations are
untrue. These letters, if published
abroad,
always
cause
division, because everyone takes
a
side.
As an answer t o
this
problem,

Unity.
What
a perfect guideline for unity, God th e Father, God the
Son,
and God
the Holy Spirit. He is

even though we
are different,
and serve
differently,
and
receive
different
gifts,

How?
We who
receive
different gifts from God remember that these gifts have been
given for the common good. Not
MYgift
But Our gift made
manifest in me. I am

individually and the result of its
use
will be unity
It's really
wonderful
when
we
Christians of
America
can
help
our brothers and s is te rs here to
seek the common good in
their differences and
as
a
result
to find unity. I
say
this
with
tongue
in
c he ek b ec au s e
I
th ink t h a t
w e have
n ot l ea rn ed
this
simple lesson
ourselves. We fight
over
Gifts
of th e Spi rit . Gi ft s are individual and are for th e
good of
one
person. His personal gift Hier
archies are
developed
showing
one
gift being of
more value
than another
and more
sought after.
Fol lowing in l ine with
this attitude
is
pride and
jealousy Fellowship is determined by agree
ment on
a
particular notion about gifts and
in that
differences
are
denied.
The
Body
of
Christ
becomes an eye that is neverseeing
or
an
ear
that
is never hearing.
How clear
is
this message from
th e
Holy Spirit
about Himself? I think that
we
really need to ask
ourselves,
In what
way
has the
Body
of Christ
profitted
from ME?
As
a
result
of my
work,
service,
or
gift, is there
unity?
We here in Zaire
are
asking
ourselves these questions. We urge
you to
do
th e s ame.

How
exciting
it is to
be writing
this article. In
the

about t he
New TEE Program.
In this program
th e
students
are
learning
and
doing.
The
first
book was Ta lk ing with God, which was on
prayer.
That

Time
is a
difficult thing
to
contend with
in that
there is
such
a
delay
between
what
we
do
and
when
you
find out about it.
When
you
received
that last
report
we
wer e a lr eady back
to collect
th e results and
start
th e process fo r the secorjd
book.
And
the
results
were
great,
not

but really
encouraging. There
some
del ay s and conflicts
with other

some difficulties,
but
nothing insurmount
Even with problems
we
have seen
a

attitude
among
those who
are
leading the

who
have come to faith and have been baptized
into Christ will go on to
week

concerning the
new life in Christ. You
can see
the
potential here for growth in numbers.
How
many
will believe
as
a

many
of these will
then tell
others? This could
really spark a growth in numbers fo r
our
Churches But
what
we really want
to
happen is

to

that
90% of
th e people
In our
Churches have never
done
anything in
the
way of
evangelism.
If
by using thi s book
they
gain
In
that
experience, and
gain confidence to
do
it again,
and again, then this
book
will
truly
have
been
a
success. We want It to be a tool by which
they
can
mature In the spirit and
gain
confidence
In
his
power.
I want you to be praying again
and
again
forthe
TEE program here.
This

really
emphas izes the doing aspect of
our
program.

It

you hear a lo t

but
they figure in to

Into Kislngani
since
August.
Remember
it Is
only
160
miles
to
Kislngani. As
I remember that Is a IVi or 3 hour
trip
where you are .
Right now
It Is
taking
the
large
t rucks, commercial carriers ,
over
a week and the
smaller pickup
type
vehicles three
to four
days,
if
they
ca n ge t a ro un d the
bigger holes.
You remember
that
we get our
fuel,
flour
sugar, cons t ruc tion supplies, case goods, etc.,
from
Kisingani.
When
we
can't get
through, then
we have to ge t
those things
from Bukavu
and
fly
them
in
and
that Is
very expensive. Actually with
th e
building
that
Mike Walton is doing,
he can 't
get cement or lumber from anywhere
but
Kisingani. When we go we have
to
go with the big
truck and
you
can see
what
that
means. Almost
t hr ee weeks on the
road
just
in
traveling,
just
in
getting there
and
gett ing back. Possibly a
month
away
from Bafwasende.
We had
wanted to
