bad cheetah run is a running company that specializes in providing the best running experience possible. the cheetah being the fastest land animal in the world, it is only fitting that our products focus on improving speeds and overall performance.

our main poduct, a running mobile application, has been meticulously designed and developed to help runners track and improve their activity. bad cheetah run goes beyond the individual user though. much like a cheetah traveling in groups, our company focuses on creating a community for runners through our application, website, and physical prod-ucts.

in the end, our company hopes to spread the message of quality speed running to all.

run fast, cheetah fast.

4 slogan

run fast. cheetah fast.

did you know that cheetahs are the fastest land animals in the world?

they are able to run at 93 km/h and even top out at a speed of 120 km/h. it is from this fact we draw inspiration for our company’s slogan here at bad cheetah run.

“run fast, cheetah fast.” is a simple but catchy phrase that embodies bad cheetah run and exemplifies our goals for all consumers that use our products.

the slogan is to be used on certain products, such as our mobile application and website. it should be used with the complete logo or icon but not with just the company name. to be used in conjunction with our brand, please contact us for permission (details on page 21).

6 spacing

at bad cheetah run, spacing is a crucial element to our compa-nies brand. given the simplistic nature of our logo and trade-mark, it is important to understand how much spacing there should be around each element.

listed below are the specifications for our spacing relating to images, branding, text, and overall margins.

printmargins: 1 inchtext: 1/2 inch and a blank line between paragraphs

logooutside: no less than 1/8 of logo sizetext: 1/8 of logo width

sizeminimum: 1 x 1 inchminimum (reversed): 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 inches

at bad cheetah run, we use one typeface for all of our products. that typeface is Avenir in the Light and Black weights. all lower-case letters are to be used unless a proper name or noun is used.

the spacing is to remain at the default settings and should be in proportion to the other content. all text should be in black (see page 9) and sizing should be no smaller than 8pts.

we feel that this typeface complements the clean, minimalistic lines of our logo. no substitutions are allowed.

10 colors

finding inspiration from cheetahs themselves, bad cheetah run uses two primary colors for it’s branding.

the main color is PANTONE P 39-8. this is the dark orange color we used for majority of our products and branding. it is used in two distinct opacities (seen on page 9) to create the illusion of two colors being used. in addition we use black for all text and when color cannot be used for imagery. this partic-ular black is PANTONE Process Black C.

more details pertaining to color usage in images outline where the colors are to be used and where they are not to be used are explained later (seen on pages 11 and 12).

Head Tilt How you hold your head is key to overall posture, which determines how efficiently you run. Let your gaze guide you. Look ahead naturally, not down at your feet, and scan the horizon. This will straighten your neck and back, and bring them into alignment. Don't allow your chin to jut out.

Shoulders Shoulders play an important role in keeping your upper body relaxed while you run, which is critical to maintaining efficient running posture. For optimum performance, your shoulders should be low and loose, not high and tight. As you tire on a run, don't let them creep up toward your ears. If they do, shake them out to release the tension. Your shoulders also need to remain level and shouldn't dip from side to side with each stride.

Arms Even though running is primarily a lower-body activity, your arms aren't just along for the ride. Your hands control the tension in your upper body, while your arm swing works in conjunction with your leg stride to drive you forward. Keep your hands in an unclenched fist, with your fingers lightly touching your palms. Imagine yourself trying to carry a potato chip in each hand without crushing it. Your arms should swing mostly forward and back, not across your body, between waist and lower-chest level. Your
