Stime in the history of the event, making it a most commemorable venue. It is therefore

special stages will have a total distance of 205kms. The rally will take its path to the

Entries must be submitted as specied in article 21 of 2019 FIA Regional Rally Sporting
Regulations. Those wishing to take part in the rally must send the ofcial entry form, duly
completed and signed to the rally secretariat.
Entries will be accepted only if accompanied by:
• The total entry fees, a proof of bank transfer of the total entry fees or receipt
issued by the competitor's National Sporting Authority.
• Photocopies of the competitor, driver and co-driver competition licenses.
• Photocopies of the driver and co-driver driving licenses.
• Photocopy of the rst page of the car homologation form for the entered
car.
In compliance with the FIA International Sporting Code, foreign entrants/drivers must
be in possession of the approval of their own ASN which must accompany the entry
form or be produced at administrative checks at the latest. With the submission of the
entry form, each foreign entrant and/or driver/co-driver declares that he/she is in
possession of this authorization.

The maximum number of entrants will be 60. If more than 60 entries are received the organizer reserves the right to decide which entries among the non-priority drivers will be accepted. Cars will be divided in classes (and groups) as indicated in article 4.5 of 2019 Middle-East Rally Championship Sporting Regulations.

- Legal entry: crew entered by a person who is not a member of the crew or by any other legal entity; - Private entrant: crew entered by a member of the crew; - A fee is payable for the Tracking/Safety boxes which is refundable at the end of the rally, after the receipt of all equipment in good condition.

TŸ Cars: Fuel tanks, engines and all parts making contact with fuel must be emptied and
drained as much as possible in order to avoid any risk of fuel and gas leak.
Ÿ All batteries must be disconnected and insulated.
Ÿ Fuel: Fuel is considered Dangerous Goods and cannot be shipped in container or
airplane.
Ÿ Sprays & Fluids: Please do not send any sprays/aerosols along with the cars & parts as
these are considered Dangerous/Hazardous Goods and will cause problems with
local authorities.
Ÿ Also please do not send any other uids such as contact cleaner, acetone, brake
cleaner etc.
Ÿ We can provide a combined transport for shipping all these items and carpets/oor
tiles, ahead by sea freight to keep cost at a minimum and provide and offer and
alternative solution.
Ÿ Oil: Oil is not considered Hazardous Goods. As for the paperwork in Qatar we cannot
use ATA carnet, so it is required to issue a Commercial Invoice & Packing list.

As per article 25 of 2019 FIA Regional Rally Sporting Regulations.
Procedure for registration
Ÿ Reconnaissance registration will take place at the Rally Ofce according to the rally program.
Ÿ A reconnaissance registration form must be completed before commencing reconnaissance. The crews must register in person.
Ÿ Competitors will be issued with three reconnaissance numbers (that must be xed to the top right corner of the windscreen & rear side windows) and one windscreen plate.
Ÿ Should a crew's reconnaissance car be replaced for any reason, the secretariat must be informed of the details of the replacement car.
Ÿ A reconnaissance record card will be supplied which must be carried in the car for the duration of the reconnaissance. This card will be stamped appropriately recording every run on each special stage. Failure to produce this card will result in refusal to participate in the reconnaissance.
Ÿ This procedure will not apply for the reconnaissance of SSS1. Ÿ Reconnaissance record cards must be returned to the Rally Ofce according to
the program.
Specic and/or national restrictions
Ÿ Unless a lower limit is indicated by trafc signs or by written instructions in the road book or in a bulletin, the maximum speed on special stages during reconnaissance is 80 kph.
Ÿ The speed of reconnaissance cars during reconnaissance (as well as their routing and position) will be monitored by means of GPS tracking devices.
Ÿ Reconnaissance of the super special stage is allowed only on foot without limitation of the number of passages.
Ÿ Any possible infringement of the reconnaissance regulations will be reported to the Stewards who may impose penalties at their discretion.

Collection / return of speed control checking devices
Ÿ GPS monitoring equipment will be available at the Rally Ofce during reconnaissance registration.
Ÿ The equipment must be returned to the Rally Ofce together with the reconnaissance record cards according to the rally program.
As per article 26 of 2019 FIA Regional Rally Sporting Regulations.
Venue : Lusail Sports Arena Date / time : According to the rally programme. A detailed schedule will be published by means of a bulletin.

Transverse mud aps
Fitting of transverse mud aps is compulsory and must comply with Appendix J, Article 252.7.7.

In accordance with Appendix J, Article 253.11.
Drivers safety equipment
Ÿ The control of drivers' helmets, overalls, long underwear, balaclavas, socks, shoes, gloves (optional for co-drivers), as well as the Head Retaining Devices (FHR) will take place at scrutineering.
Ÿ In accordance with Appendix J, Article 253.6, two belt cutters must be carried on board at all times. They must be easily accessible for the driver and co-driver when seated with their harnesses fastened.

As per article 65.3 of 2019 FIA Regional Rally Sporting Regulations.
Installation of safety tracking equipment
Ÿ For every vehicle, it is mandatory to mount a tracking system, live satellite tracking, data recording and emergency signalling device that will be used to monitor the position, movement and status of all competing cars at all times during the rally. This apparatus will be provided by the organiser.
Ÿ The installation of the provided tracking system as well as its operating instructions will take place whilst scrutineering and compulsory to apply.
Ÿ Any misuse of the system(s) during the rally will result in the competitor being reported to the Stewards who may impose penalties which may go as far as exclusion.
Ÿ Post Event scrutineering will take place according with the rally programme. Details of the venue will be contained in Rally Guide.
Ÿ Cars subject to nal checks (decision by the Stewards and announced to the competitor concerned at the nish TC) must have one representative of the entrant as well as mechanics and proper equipment (in case of dismantling) present at the nal checks.

Prize Giving / Podium Ceremony
Finish Procedure
Ÿ After checking-in at TC11D, rally cars must enter directly the holding area where they will stay under Parc Fermé regulations. Marshals´ instructions must be respected.
Ÿ Access to the holding area before the nish podium will be limited to ofcials and to media representatives holding the appropriate pass.
Ÿ After passing by the podium, each crew will receive (TC11E) a starting time for the last road section.
* The exact schedule will be published by means of a bulletin.
Any delay on the presentation at the time control installed at the entrance of Parc Fermé will result in the following penalties:
from 1 to 15 minutes from 16 to 30 minutes > 30 minutes > 60 minutes

DPlease Do:
· Dress modestly. Qatar is a Muslim country and it has conservative dress
codes.Trousers are acceptable for women but avoid shorts, strappy low cut
tops, see through and transparent clothes.
· Use Mowasalat turquoise taxis as they are safe and clean, and the majority of
the drivers speak English.
· Drink plenty of water, especially during the hot summer. Two liters of water per
person, per day is the absolute minimum that should be drank.
· Use a high factor sun block on all exposed skin, even in the winter, including the
tops of your feet if wearing sandals. It is highly recommended to wear hats or
caps.
· Remember the air conditioning, which can chill you at restaurants, cinemas and shopping malls. Take always along a light jacket as a precaution.
Dont’s:
· Take a photograph without permission of other people, including police and
armed forces, or sensitive sites. Arabic women and many older people strongly
object to being photographed
· Drink too much that your behavior is affected in public. Alcohol in Qatar is strictly
regulated concession and there is zero tolerance for drunk driving, rowdy
behavior and drugs.
· Display affection in public between men and women as if deemed to infringe
moral values, individuals may be prosecuted.
When driving in Qatar :
· Once you get into an accident please wait for the trafc police to come so that
you can get an Incident report.
· Be careful in speeding & parking as radars are available everywhere in Doha
(Qatar)..
