While“BacktoSchool”isnotaseasonofthechurchyear,itisimportantinthelifeofourchurch.Wecelebratethis@meofyearwithourannual“BlessingoftheBackpack”worshipserviceonSunday,Aug.12.StudentsandeducatorsareinvitedtobringtheirbackpackorbagtoworshipwheretheywillbeblessedandreceiveaspecialgiD.Itisourhopethatstudentsandteacherswillknowthatwearethinkingandprayingforthemwhiletheyareatschool.

OnewaySt.Paul’sislivingoutGod’sloveandexpressingloveofcrea@onisthattheHospitality/FellowshipMinistryhasgone“green”byservingcoffeehoursnacksonnon-disposableplatesthatdonotendupinthelandfill.Wehadextraplatesandareusingthemtoserve.Wealsousecoffeemugsthatarenon-disposablealso.Wehaveadishwasherandputthattogooduseeveryweek!Weareallhelpingtoimpacttheworldinourownsmallway.Thankyouforbeingapartofit.

ThetotalreceiptsforthemonthofJulywere$14,560.Ourspendableincomecameto$14,468.50,includingourOCWMincomeof$463.
Wehadacharitableincomeof$91.50forthemonthofJuly.Itwasdistributedasfollows:$35totheScholarshipFundand$56.50toPADSthroughthesaleofourgardenvegetables.
Wearecollec@ng“J”Dollarsforahandicap-accessibleentrancetotheMissionHouseandahandicap-accessiblewashroomintheMissionHouse.Thismonthwecollected$175towardsthatprojectforatotalof$646.10fortheyear.
