Parents must sign-in at the Front Office and receive a visitor’s pass before entering the building (ID)
Parents must have a specific purpose to enter the school

Classroom Observations
Parents must submit a written request to administration at least 24 hours in advance
Request must state the date and time of the desired observation as well as the reason for the observation
Parents must wait for administration to contact them to inform them if their request has been approved
Observations are limited to one class period

Attendance
A note from a parent must be presented to the Front Office the day a student returns from an absence (even if the parent already spoke to the front office or their child’s teacher on the day of the absence)
The note should state the date(s) of the absence(s) and the reason for the absence
If a note is not received within 3 days of the child returning to school, the absence will be marked unexcused

Tardies
The school’s tardy policy has been developed to emphasize the importance of each student arriving on time to school every day and remaining in the classroom for the entire period. Learning personal responsibility by arriving to school and class on time is an integral part of the school’s standard of excellence, which helps prepare students for excellence.

Tardies
Students should be inside the classroom by 8:00am. A student arriving after this time must report to the front office and obtain a tardy slip. Tardiness to school will be unexcused, unless the student arrives to campus late for one of the following reasons:
Personal illness Attendance at a required court appointment Appointment with a doctor, dentist or other
professionalFor a tardy to be excused, the student must present a
note from the parent explaining the student’s late arrival. The school may also require a written note from a doctor, dentist or other professional.

Cell phones should be turned off and put away (in their locker) from the time a student arrives at school until the time they leave campus
No electronics such as cameras, iPods, iPads, gaming systems, and other such devices are allowed at school
Any cell phones or electronics that are in violation of school rules will be confiscated
