Please send all informationto Za-Ga-Zig Shrine Temple
The Circus has come and gone and was a suc-cess. We don’t have the numbers yet but listeningto everyone’s comments I would deem it a success.A big thank you goes out to all the Nobles and La-dies that helped make this Circus the success thatit was. Hopefully, in years to come attendance willcontinue to grow. This year at the appreciation din-ner we will try something new. If you qualified forthe appreciation dinner you can bring a guest for$10. This is being done in hopes that more Nobleswill attend this dinner if they can bring their sig-nificant other. Thank you to Randy “Wuzzles”Weldon for clowning me up on Sunday. Now I seewhy the clowns have so much fun. At the February Nobility Meeting we had theprivilege to have Sara Van Patten from ShrinersHealthcare for Children (formerly Twin CitiesHospital) travel from the Twin Cities to give us anupdate on our hospital system. If you were unableto attend and want more information, contact JimMay and he will be able to give you literature. Even though the Super Bowl wasn’t the gamethat most people wanted a good time was had atthe party. As usual P.P. Tom Robbins preparedenough snacks to feed an army and no one wentaway hungry. Get your petitions ready for the Spring Ceremo-nial. The Honoree will be P.P. Rick “Puddin”Corbin. Let’s make this one of the largestceremonials we’ve had for a while and show ourhonoree a good time.

PARADESSteve Green, P.P., Recorder
Nobles, Spring is not that far away, evenwith all the snow and freezing cold thatwe have had. This is the time to remindall of you who wish to participate in theparades for 2019 to get your insurancedeclaration coverages into the office. This is a necessity, not only to protectyou but to protect your Shrine, and thisis a requirement by-law of your Shrineand Imperial. As soon as we get yourinsurance declaration page, we cansend your parade sticker out to you.
Remember we need the full page of dec-laration, not the card you keep in theglove box, which states your name, cov-erage, coverage limits, and dates of yourcoverage. Also, remember that if yourinsurance expires in July you will needto provide a second declaration page forthe remainder of the year.

Our annual Pork Loin Dinner is this month, March 29th. Make sure you come out for an amaz-ing meal. We are confident you will not leave disappointed. Manpower, planning and preparation goes into preparing a successful dinner. Our unit is for-tunate to have a group of ladies that step up and help to make this dinner successful. Ladies, without you, we could not do this. By now the tractors are getting cleaned up and parade ready. Nobles, parading is what you dowhen you belong to a parade unit. It also brings awareness to our philanthropy. Please considerthis when you are deciding whether or not you are going to parade. You are not only representingZa-Ga-Zig, you are representing Shrinedom. The people from these small towns and communi-ties want to see us at their annual events, festivals and holidays.

What’s in Store for 2019Craig Matzke, Chief Rabban
First, I want to congratulate Illustrious Sir Doug Miller andFirst Lady Dixie, on his election and installation as Potentate. This honor and enormous responsibility culminate years of dedi-cated service to the Masonic Family and Za-Ga-Zig. During ourannual meeting with the Cabiri, I was asked, what my planswere for 2019; my answer was simple, work to make 2019 theabsolute best year ever!
