Remaining prerequisite courses may be in progress at the time of the nursing application, and one course may be taken in the summer prior to Fall entry. Students must successfully complete all prerequisites with a minimum grade of C. All prerequisites must be completed by the time the program starts. Advanced Placement courses will be accepted if they have met the minimum required score and have been accepted by the university. Supplemental Nursing Application - All applicants must submit a complete supplemental Pre-licensure Nursing Program application packet to the Nursing Department. Program admission is contingent upon meeting minimum requirements (see below) and passing a physical exam, drug screening and a background check.

Minimum Requirements Overall GPA of 3.0 Science prerequisite GPA of 2.75 {Grade of C or better in each prerequisite course} Non-Science prerequisite GPA of 2.75 {Grade of C or better in each prerequisite course} No more than 1 science prerequisite course may be repeated and no more than 1 non-science prerequisite course may be

repeated starting with Fall 2012 applicants. At least 2 non-science prerequisites must be completed at the time of application At least 2 science prerequisite courses must be completed at the time of application Minimum test score (Adjusted Individual Total Score) of 75% for version 4 and 67% for version 5 on the ATI TEAS test *For additional criteria see our web site and look for the Pre-licensure Application Score Guide
