Namaskar and Season’s Greetings!
Many congratulations to you on your excellent academic journey so far. You are warmly welcome to the
Gujarat University family. Since its inception in 1949 and banking on our glorious alumni tradition, the University
strives to excel in various disciplines like Humanities, Management, Law, Education, Sciences, Medical and
Paramedical.
This e-booklet details various courses following the UGC and Government of Gujarat guidelines. The
credit system for each subject is the core component of the education system at Gujarat University. This will be
especially beneficial for those who wish to pursue higher studies at the institutes and universities of national and
international repute. These programmes include wide range of core, compulsory, core electives, subject electives
and soft skill and foundation courses.
The motto of Gujarat University is Education-Innovation-Skill with Culture. The Gujarat University also
provides a progressive platform to young entrepreneurs /researchers /scholars /faculties. The University has a
strong and innovative initiative like Gujarat University Startup and Entrepreneurship Council (GUSEC), Gujarat
University Consultancy Cell (GUCC) and an upcoming APJ Abdul Kalam Centre for Extension, Research and
Innovation (CERI), Research Park (RP), DST- Technology Business Incubator (TBI), Atal Incubation Centre
(AIC). The affiliated colleges of this University also provide various opportunities and a platform to the students
to blossom in curricular and extra-curricular activities like cultural, social, sports, NSS and NCC, etc. We encourage
and strive for all round development of the students for a better culture – individual and nation.
Let me put some light on a few key and remarkable achievements of the University during the last year.
GU became the first university in India to sign a cooperation agreement with the Indian Army to collaborate on
innovation, training of soldiers and solving challenges faced by the Indian army. GU also signed MoU with
Canada's Launch Academy during the Vibrant Gujarat Start-up Summit. During the year, GU also undertook a
program named her START to boost women-led start-ups and women entrepreneurship, paving way for more
than 35 women-led start-ups emerging from the program.
These initiatives are only a few out of dozens that the University has taken in the last year, and your joining in this historical and the largest University of the state will also make you a part of this family and your contribution will be a part of such ground breaking innovations.

નમસ્તે ! સૌ પહલેા તો જે મમત્રો એમની શાળા અભ્યાસની – ૧૨ વર્ષની લાાંબી યાત્રા પરૂી કરીને કોલેજ જીવનમાાં પ્રવેશ કરી રહ્યા છે તેમને અને તેમના માતા-મપતા તથા તેમના સ્વજનોને ગજુરાત યમુનવમસિટી તરફથી અભિનાંદન સાથે આવકારુાં છાં
મમત્રો, ગજુરાત યમુનવમસિટીના િવ્ય ઈમતહાસ તરફ નજર નાખીએ તો ૨૩ નવેમ્બર, ૧૯૪૯ ના રોજ પ્રારાંિ થયેલ આ ગજુરાત યમુનવમસિટીના સ્વપ્ન્દ્રસ્ટામાાં મહાત્મા ગાાંધી, સરદાર વલ્લિિાઇ પટેલ, આચાયષ આનાંદશાંકર ધ્રવુ, દાદા સાહબે માવલાંકર, કસ્તરુિાઈ લાલિાઈ જેવા ગૌરવશાળી અનેક મહાનિુાવોના નામ ગણી શકાય, જેમનુાં દીર્ષરષ્ટટ અને કાયષની આહુતીએ િારત દેશની એક સમયની સૌથી મોટી યમુનવમસિટીને જ્મ આપ્ન્દયો છે તેમાાં તમે જોડાવાના છો જે તમારા માટે પણ ગવષની વાત બનશે.
િગવદ્ ગીતાના બીજા અધ્યાયના ૫૦મા શ્લોકને ગજુરાત યમુનવમસિટીનો મરુાલેખ બનાવવામાાં આવ્યો છે જે તેના લોગોમાાં દશાષવેલ છે જેનો અથષ છે “કમષની કુશળતા એ જ યોગ છે”, મતલબ તમે જે પણ કામ કરો અથવા તમારી જે કામ કરવાની જવાબદારી છે તેમાાં શે્રટઠ કરો એ જ યોગ છે અને કૌશલનો અથષ છે કોઈ પ્રકારના લગાવ વગર, સખત મહનેત અને લાાંબા કલાકો નહહ પરાંત ુિક્તતિાવ પવૂષક પોતાનુાં કામ કરવુાં. મમત્રો કામ કરવાનો આ અથષ તમે જીવનમાાં ઉતારશો તો હુાં ચોક્કસ પણે માનુાં છાં કે તમારી કારહકદી તમને એક એવી જબરજસ્ત ઊંચાઈ પર લઇ જશે, જેની કદાચ તમે કલ્પના પણ નહહ કરી હોય.
હડજીટલ ઇ્ડીયા તરફના કદમમાાં ગજુરાત યમુનવમસિટી દ્વારા ૨૦૧૪થી તૈયાર થયેલ આ ઈ બકુ તમને તમારી પ્રવેશ પ્રહિયાની રજેરજ માહહતી આપશે, જેનુાં મખુ્ય ધ્યાન તમને ઓનલાઈન એડમમશનની સમગ્ર પ્રહિયા કેવી રીતે કરી શકો તે છે, જેમાાં એક બાજુ ઉપયોગી Abbreviations અને Acronyms પણ છે, તો સાથે જ ગજુરાત યમુનવમસિટી સાંલગ્ન કોમસષ, બી.બી.એ., બી.સી.એ., ઇ્ટીગે્રટેડ એમ. બી.એ. અને ઇ્ટીગે્રટેડ એમ. એસ. સી. 1. Preamble
The Gujarat University is established in the year 1949 by The Gujarat University Act,
1949. As per the powers conferred in the said Act, Gujarat University has constituted
“Gujarat University Admission Committee” to regulate the admission of student to
the certain programmes as mentioned in “The Gujarat University Admission Rules,
2019 (Arts)”. The mission assigned to the Committee is to carry out the counseling
process in a fair and transparent manner. The admission process is conducted by this
Committee strictly on the basis of merit and the preference of the student. The
functions of the Committee are as follow:
The Committee shall supervise, monitor and control the entire process of
admission to the student seeking admissions to the affiliated colleges or
institutions;
The Committee shall prepare the merit list in accordance with the provisions
of the rules made there under.
The Committee shall advocate the Government, Grant-In-Aid or Unaided seats
in accordance with the provisions of the rules made there under.
The Committee shall ensure that admission in the Government, Grant-In-Aid
or Unaided seats are made as per the merit list prepared.
The Committee shall perform such other functions as may be assigned to it by
the Gujarat University.
The GUAC deals with admission of Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Bachelor of Journalism
& Mass Communication (B.J.M.C.), Three Years Course.
Gujarat University has launched online admission procedure since June, 2014-15 and
performing successfully. Online web-based admission process proved to be most
accurate, transparent and time and cost effective.

2. Admission Rules
The Gujarat University Admission Rules, 2019- 2020 (Arts)
In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 4 read with Section 22 of the Gujarat
University Act, 1949, the Gujarat University hereby makes the following rules to
regulate admission to various programs mentioned in 1.2 as follows, namely:
1. Short Title and Commencement
1.1. These rules may be called the “The Gujarat University Admission Rules,
2019 (Arts)”.
1.2. These rules shall be applicable for admission in the first year of the
following programs:
1.2.1 Bachelor of Arts (B. A.)
1.2.2 Bachelor of Journalism & Mass Communication (B.J.M.C.)
1.3 They shall come into force from the 1st April, 2019 and the earlier ordinances,
rules and regulations will stand null and void for the programme
mentioned in 1.2.
2. Definitions
2.1 In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires:
2.1.1 “University” means the Gujarat University constituted under the
Gujarat University Act, 1949;
2.1.2 “UGC” means University Grants Commission constituted under the
University Grants Commission Act, 1956;
2.1.3 “Rules” means “The Gujarat University Admission Rules, 2019
(Arts);
2.1.4 “Admission Committee” means “Gujarat University Admission
Committee” framed for centralized online admission of Gujarat
University for programs mentioned in 1.2.

2.1.5 “Admission” for the purpose of these rules means admission of
student in the programs mentioned in 1.2.
2.1.6 “Gujarat Board” means the Gujarat Secondary and Higher
Secondary School Examination Board established under section 3
of the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary School Board Act,
1972 ( Guj. 18 of 1973);
2.1.7 “School” means a higher secondary school (XII, 10 + 2 Pattern);
2.1.8 “University School” means a “University School” as defined in the
Gujarat University Act, 1949;
2.1.9 “Department” means a “University Department” as defined in the
Gujarat University Act, 1949;
2.1.10 “College” or “Institution” means a “University College”, “Degree
College”, “Constituent College”, “Affiliated College” or “College”
as defined in the Gujarat University Act, 1949;
2.1.11 “Help Centers” means the centers notified by the admission
committee for facilitation of the student for off campus online
admission process;
2.1.12 “Theory Subjects” means those theory subjects which are
considered by the respective board to award class, grade or
percentage;
2.1.13 “Merit Marks” or “Percentage of Marks” means the total marks
obtained by the student in his/her board in theory subjects (papers)
only, which will be divided by total marks of theory subjects
(papers) multiplied by 100;
2.1.14 “Qualifying Examination” means the Higher Secondary School
Certificate Examination, (Standard XII, 10 + 2 Pattern) passed in
the General, Commerce or Science Stream or equivalent
examination and English as one of the subjects;
2.1.15 “Website” means the official website of the Admission Committee
to carry out campus online admission process;

2.1.16 “Supernumerary Seats” means the seats which are termed as such
by the University, UGC or other statutory body and which are over
and above the sanctioned intake of the programs;
2.1.17 “Unaided” means self-financed;
2.1.18 “PI” means participating institution;
2.2. The words and expressions used in these rules but are not defined shall
have the same meanings as assigned to them in the rules.

4. Admission to Various Programs
Admission to the first year of the programs mentioned in 1.2 shall be given
on all the government, grant-in-aid and unaided seats on the basis of merit
list prepared by the admission committee.
5. Seats Available for Admission
For the purpose of admission to the first year of the programs, available seats
shall include –
5.1 Government, Grant-In-Aid or Un-Aided Seats

5.1.1 All the sanctioned government, grant-in-aid or un-aided seats
of the programs mentioned in 1.2 in the government, grant-
in-aid or un-aided university school, department, government
college or institution,
5.1.2 All supernumerary seats of the programs mentioned in 1.2 in
the government, grant-in-aid or unaided university school,
department, college or institution.
6. Eligibility for Admission
6.1 For the purpose of admission, a student shall have passed the qualifying
examination in the subjects prescribed by Gujarat University from time
to time from –
6.1.1 The Gujarat Board;
6.1.2 The Central Board of Secondary Education;
6.1.3 The Council of Indian School Certificate Examination, New
Delhi;
6.1.4 The International Baccalaureate;
6.1.46.1.5 National Institute of Open Schooling
6.1.56.1.6 A student who has passed the qualifying examination
from any State other than Gujarat;
6.2 A student who has passed the qualifying examination after appearing in
the supplementary examination conducted by the Board shall be eligible
for admission in the current academic year on vacant seats declared
under the Gujarat University Admission Rules, 2019 (Arts).
6.3 A student who has passed the qualifying examination from other than
Gujarat Board and other than CBSE school of Gujarat State shall be
required to obtain Provisional Eligibility Certificate (PEC) from Gujarat
University before registration from Room No. 14 - Eligibility Section,
Ground floor, Gujarat University Tower.
6.4 Following shall be eligibility criteria for admission in first year of the
programme mentioned in 1.2,
6.4.1 All Students who have English as one of the subject or English as
medium of Instruction are eligible for admission. The Student
who has studied in English Medium and English was not the
subject in 12th standard, then he/she has to produce a Certificate
from school that he/she has studied in English Medium.

7. Reservation of Seats
7.1 For the purpose of admission, the seats shall be reserved for the
students who are of Gujarat origin and falling under the respected
categories and in the following proportion, namely-
7.1.1 Scheduled Caste: 7 %
7.1.2 Scheduled Tribe: 15 %
7.1.3 Socially and Educationally Backward Classes, including Widows
and Orphan of any caste: 27% %
7.1.4 Economically Weaker Sections 10 % (Out of 33% for Girls) (As
per the resolution of Gujarat Government)
7.2 A student seeking admission on reserved seat shall be required to
produce a Certificate of Caste;
Provided that the student belonging to SEBC shall be required to
produce a certificate to the effect of non-inclusion in creamy layer in
addition to the caste certificate.
Provided that the student belonging to EWS shall be required to
produce a certificate
7.3 No caste certificate / a certificate to the effect of non-inclusion in
creamy layer / EWS certificate shall be valid unless it is duly stamped,
signed and issued by the authority empowered by the Government of
Gujarat.
7.4 A certificate to the effect of non-inclusion in creamy layer issued by the
competent authority shall be valid for the period of 3 years from the
date of issue.
7.5 If a student fails to submit the certificates as required within the
stipulated time, his/her candidature shall be considered for admission
under unreserved category.
7.6 If a student of reserved category gets admission on unreserved seat in
order of merits, he/she may be given admission on the unreserved seat
according to his/her preference.
7.7 The admission of a student from a reserved category on a reserved seat
shall be valid on the subject to the verification of caste certificate by the
authority empowered by the State Government on this behalf. In case
the caste certificate is found invalid on verification, he/she shall not
have right to claim his/her admission on reserved seat and if he/she has
already been granted admission, such admission shall be cancelled.

Admission of such student may be continued in case of availability of
vacant unreserved seats, subject to the condition of eligibility of merit.
7.8 After granting admission to all the students of reserved categories on
respective reserved seats, the remaining vacant reserved category seats
of Scheduled Caste (SC) shall be transferred to Scheduled Tribe (ST)
and similarly the remaining vacant seat of Scheduled Tribe (ST) shall be
transferred to Scheduled Caste (SC) by the Admission Committee after
having obtained sanction from the competent authority of the Gujarat
University.
After granting admission to all the students of EWS categories on
respective reserved seats, the remaining vacant reserved category seats
of female students (of EWS category) shall be transferred to male
students (of EWS category) and similarly the remaining vacant seats of
male students (of EWS category) shall be transferred to female students
(of EWS category) by the admission committee after having obtained
sanction from the competent authority of the Gujarat University.
7.9 After granting admission to all the students as mentioned in 7.8 above,
the remaining reserved category vacant seats (if any) shall be transferred
to the unreserved category seats by the Admission Committee after
having obtained sanction from the competent authority of the Gujarat
University.
8. Reservation for Physically Disabled Students
3 % (Three percent) of the available seats in each category shall be reserved,
in accordance with the provisions of the Persons with Disabilities(Equal
Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995 (1 of
1996), for the persons with disability who can perform the academic activities
in the respective programme.
A student with disability shall have to submit certificate of disability issued
and duly signed by the Civil Surgeon.
Explanation: “Person with Disability” means a person suffering from not
less than 40 % (forty percent) of any disability as certified by a competent
medical authority.
9. Reservation for the Children of Defense Personnel and Ex-Servicemen
9.1 One percent of available seats shall be reserved for the children of
Defense personnel and Ex-Servicemen, for admission.

9.2 A student claiming admission against Ex-Servicemen category shall be
required to submit a certificate to that effect duly issued by the Director,
Sainik Welfare Board or by the District Sainik Welfare Officer. In-
Service Defense personnel shall be required to submit certificate to that
effect duly issued by the Commanding Officer of the respective unit in
which they are serving.
9.3 The seats remaining vacant against the category of Defense personnel
and Ex-Servicemen shall be filled up from the merit list of unreserved
category students.
10. Distribution of Seats between Students of Gujarat Board and Other Boards
For the purpose of admission, the available seats shall be distributed based
on the merit list prepared in 12.1:
5 % seats of available seats for admission shall be reserved for student who
has passed qualifying examination other than Gujarat State from Gujarat
Board and CBSE school of Gujarat State.
11. Supernumerary Seats
11.1 2 % Supernumerary seats will be allotted to the student of NSS,
NCC, Sports and having cultural achievements. The criteria and
verification will be done by competent committee constituted by
Gujarat University. (Copies of supporting documents along with
print of registration forms must be submitted to admission
committee before the date specified on GUAC website).
12. Preparation of Merit List
The merit list of the students, who have applied for admission in the manner
prescribed by the Admission Committee, within the prescribed limit and who
are found eligible for admission under these rules, shall be prepared in the
following, namely –
12.1 For the students who have passed the qualifying examination from any
of the Boards mentioned in the 6.1, percentage of marks up to four
decimal points obtained in the theory shall be the merit marks.
12.2 The criteria for deciding merit order in case of students having equal
merit marks shall be based on the following sequence, namely –
12.2.1 Aggregate marks obtained in qualifying examination
12.2.2 English subject marks in qualifying examination

12.2.3 Aggregate marks of SSC Examination or equivalent examination
12.2.4 Date of Birth (Age)
12.2.5 The Boards / Universities who have the mark sheet with theory and
practical marks must produce certificates issued by School / Board /
University which clearly indicate classification of theory and practical
marks otherwise their registration form will not be accepted. The merit
list will be strictly on external theory marks only.
12.2.6 Those students whose mark sheet include CGPA / Grade only
and does not produce marks / percentage have to produce
equivalent certificate issued by the School / Board / University
showing the conversion of Grade / CGPA into marks or
percentage otherwise their registration form will not be
accepted.
13. Correction of Marks
13.1 In case of change in marks of a student in the qualifying examination,
such student shall produce a letter to that effect by the competent
authority or the corrected mark sheet issued by the Board, before the
Admission Committee at least one day before the commencement of
admission process (counseling programme) but not later than seven
days from the receipt of letter, or as the case may be, corrected mark-
sheet. In such case he/she shall be placed at an appropriate order in the
merit list.
13.2 The student who was declared failed initially in the qualifying
examination, but later on declared passed after rechecking of marks by
the Board, such student shall, not withstand any time limit prescribed,
be allowed to apply for the admission, provided he/she produces a letter
to that effect by the competent authority of the corrected mark sheet
issued by the Board, within seven days of the receipt of letter, or as the
case may be corrected mark-sheet. In such he/she shall be placed at an
appropriate order in the merit list.
14. Registration for Admission
14.1 The Admission Committee shall, by advertisement in the prominent
newspapers widely circulated in the State, by web-site or by such other
means, as it may consider convenient, publish the date of registration,
the list of Help Centers, last date for submission of registration form,

programs offered and such other information as may be necessary in
this regard.
14.2 A student seeking admission shall apply on-line, for the registration of
his/her candidature, on the web-site, within the time limit specified by
the Admission Committee.
14.3 For the purpose of registration, a student shall be required to make
payment of such sum total towards the Registration fee, etc. as
determined by the Admission Committee.
14.4 Where a student has made more than one registrations, the registration
made at the later stage shall be taken into consideration for admission
purpose and the other registration shall be treated as cancelled.
14.5 A repeater, reserved category or other board student shall be required
to obtain the print out of the registration form and shall sign and submit
the same, along with the self-attested copies of the requisite certificates
and testimonials as specified in the registration form, at the Help Center.
An acknowledgement receipt for the same shall be given from the
college which is authorized by the Admission Committee.
Provided that any student, who has passed out his /her 12th standard
Board exam before March 2019, must submit an affidavit in the
prescribed format which is given in content 8.
Note: Without online registration no admission will be granted
15. Admission Procedure
The admission procedure shall be off campus and will be conducted online
in the following manner:
15.1 The Admission Committee shall prepare merit list of the eligible
students who have applied under 14.2, after verification of the
documents submitted under 14.5.
15.2 The merit lists shall be displayed on the web-site of the Admission
Committee and by such other means, as the Committee may consider
convenient.
15.3 The Admission Committee shall publish the schedule of online
counseling programme on its web-site or by advertisement in the
prominent newspapers widely circulated in the State, by web-site or by
such other means, as it may consider convenient.

15.4 The student shall be required to indicate at least 1 college in his/her
order of choices of programs and university schools, departments,
colleges or institutions, online. Allotment of seats shall be made on the
basis of merit, category of the student and availability of seats. The
allotment of seats shall be published on the web-site of the Gujarat
University. The students are required to obtain the print out of the
allotment letter and bank fee receipt copies from the website.
15.5 The student shall be required to pay such fees, as may be determined by
the Gujarat University.
15.6 The student, for securing his/her admission, shall produce at the Help
Centre, the allotment letter, receipt of fee, all original documents and
testimonials, for verification, within the specified time limit. Such
student shall be eligible to participate in the successive rounds of
counseling provided he/she has given option for the same. In case, the
student fails to produce the aforesaid required documents within
prescribed time limit, the admission offered to him/her shall be treated
as cancelled. Once the students have reported to their respective college,
cannot take part in the subsequent rounds.
15.7 Where considerable numbers of seats fall vacant and it appears to the
Committee to fill the vacant seats, it may conduct the on-line admission
process for readjustment (reshuffling) of seats. The student, who opts
to take part in reshuffling process, shall be considered for such
admission. The student may either give option for up gradation of
choices already given or submit new choices. If the student gets the
admission on the basis of up-gradation or new choices, then his/her
earlier admission shall be treated as cancelled, if reshuffling round is
done by the GUAC.
15.8 After completion of second round of admission by the colleges, the
vacant seats of reserved categories will be transferred to open category.
16. Fees
16.1 A student who gets admission in the government, aided or unaided
university school, department, college or institution shall have to pay
such fees, as may be determined by the Gujarat University.

16.2 If a student, who has paid the fees after getting admission, gets his/her
admission cancelled, his/her fees shall be refunded after completion of
the admission process after deducting 10 % of the fees paid, if permitted
by GUAC to do so.
16.3 In case of admission, benefits of Free ship card will be availed to only
un-aided (i.e. – self- financed) /higher payment programs.
16.4 If a student who has paid the fees in first round after getting admission
and does not report to the respective
17. Documents to be Attached with the Application
10.1 The student shall submit the self-attested copies of the following
documents along with the print out of the registration from at the Help
Center, namely –
10.1.1 SSC Examination (Std. X) Mark-sheet.
10.1.2 HSC Examination (Std. XII) Mark-sheet.
10.1.3 School Leaving Certificate or Transfer Certificate or Migration
Certificate
10.1.4 Caste certificate for a student belonging to Scheduled Caste
(SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Socially and Educationally
Backward Classes (SEBC) issued by the authority empowered
by the State Government in this behalf.
10.1.5 Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) issued by the authority
empowered by the State Government in this behalf.
10.1.6 A certificate to the effect of non-inclusion in creamy layer
issued by the competent authority having validity for the
period of 3 years from the date of issuance or as per the latest
amendment made by Government of Gujarat with this regard.
10.1.7 Certificate of Physical Disability, issued and duly signed by the
Civil Surgeon/competent Medical Authority, in case of a
Physically Handicapped student.
10.1.8 Certificate of Ex-Serviceman, duly issued by the Director,
Sainik Welfare Board by the District Sainik Welfare Officer.
10.1.9 A copy of certificate of In-Serviceman duly issued by the
Commanding Officer of the respective unit in which he/she is
serving.

10.1.10 A copy of Provisional Eligibility certificate for student of other
than Gujarat Board( including CBSE school situated in
Gujarat)
10.1.11 Such other certificates as the Admission Committee deems
necessary.
10.2 After getting the allotment letter, the student shall have to produce
registration form, original certificates and testimonials/documents
along with the allotment letter for verification, at the Help Centre,
within time-limit as may be specified by the Admission Committee.
10.3 The Help Centre may retain any original certificate or testimonial, which
it considers necessary until the admission process is completed. Such
help Center shall return the original certificate or testimonial to the
student after completion of the admission process.
10.4 The student who is unable to submit original certificates and
testimonials necessary for the purpose of admission within the time-
limit prescribed in 17.2, may be granted provisional admission, subject
to the following conditions:
10.4.1 On payment of Rs. 5000/- (Rupees Five Thousand) to the
Admission Committee as security deposit by the student. If the
student submits the required documents within a period of three
working days, (before last date of fee payment)the remaining
amount of the security deposit shall, after deducting Rs. 500/-
(Rupees Five Hundred) towards the administrative expenditure,
be refunded;
10.4.2 In the event of failure to submit original certificates and
testimonials within the time limit as aforesaid, the provisional
admission may be cancelled and security deposit may be
forfeited.
18. Ineligibility for Admission on Production of False Documents
During verification of documents or subsequently, if the Admission
Committee or Help Center finds, any certificate or testimonial or
information submitted by any student, incorrect or false, the studentship
of such student shall be cancelled for that year and he/she shall be
disqualified for admission for the period of next two years.

19. Cancellation of Admission and Refund of Fees
19.1 In case of cancellation of admission or transfer of student by the
Admission Committee, due to administrative reasons, the university
school, department, college or institution in which the student was
granted admissions shall refund the fees collected by it, (after deducting
10 %) to such student. He /she is not permitted to take admission in
any college included in admission process after cancellation by GUAC.
19.2 In case of cancellation of admission due to failure of student to get
him/herself reported at the Help Center before 31/08/2019, such
student shall be refunded after completion of the admission process
after deducting 10 % of the fees paid.
19.3 Student admitted through GUAC shall not be eligible to get refund of
fees in any circumstances, if he/she cancel his/her admission after
31/08/2019.
20. Vacant Seats
20.1 After offering admission to all the students whose name appear in the
merit list or after completion of the admission process, if the seats
remain vacant, such vacant seats shall be filled by the university school,
department, college or institution, in accordance with one directions of
the Admission Committee, in the manner prescribed in 20.2.
20.2 Such university school, department college or institution shall, invite
application from the eligible students and prepare an inter-se merit-list.
20.3 Admission on vacant seats mentioned in 20.2 shall be completed within
stipulated time period prescribed by Admission Committee. No
admission shall be granted after that.
21. Penalty
Any breach of any of the provisions of the Rule or any directions issued,
by the Admission Committee time to time, by any person shall be liable
to penalty which shall be decided by the admission committee.
22. Loss of Pin
If pin is lost then go to GUAC portal and click on “Forgot Pin” and follow
the procedure. This facility will be available one time only. Second time
onwards Rs. 50-00 will be charged by GUAC as penalty fees for retrieval
of old pin.

23. If any Change
If any change is required in the registration form, then the student can go to the Help-Centre (College). Only the change in Name and Mobile Number shall be done by GUAC. (Charge Rs. 50/- is applicable for changing Name/Mobile Number)
24. Interpretation
In implementation of the provisions of these rules, if any difficulty or
question arises as to the interpretation of any provision, the decision of
the Admission Committee shall be final. If any dispute arises, it will fall
under Ahmedabad City Jurisdiction only.
3. Notice for Help Centers All types of document verifications for the stream of Arts shall be done by all ARTS
colleges affiliated of Gujarat University

This information is to be filled up only by the students who have passed their
qualifying examinations of H.S.C., before 2019. The students who are to pass the
examination in 2019, they are not required to fill up this information they have to
enter the data immediately after declaration of their result.

Step 2: Student Registration
સ્ટેપ ૨: વવદ્યાર્થી રજીસ્રેશન
1. To fill the registration form, first enter the unique 14 character PIN number
(provided by the university) in to the textbox besides PIN number button in the
picture given below
Note: The student has to collect the PIN number from any college/institute
of the course/degree concern.
2. After entering the PIN, student has to fill up personal details as displayed in
above screen.
3. Registration form once confirmed, information cannot be changed later.
Student needs to ensure corrections of data before confirming submission. Also,
keep all registration details handy for future login into the system. Click ‘Submit
& Next’ button for completing registration process.
4. 4. For all registered students, unique registration number will be generated and
will be displayed on top of the login form. The student will use this registration
number for all future communications and online admission process.
૧. મવદ્યાથી એ રજીસ્રેશન કરવા માટે સૌથી પેહલા, ૧૪ અક્ષરના PIN નાંબરને (યમુનવમસિટી દ્વારા આપેલ

િયાષની ખાતરી કયાષ પછી માહહતીમાાં કોઈ ફેરફાર થઇ શકશે નહહ અને બધી રજીસ્રેશન માહહતી બરાબર-

૪. રજીસ્રેશન કરેલ દરેક મવદ્યાથીને ફોમષમાાં ઉપરની બાજુ તેમના માટે બનેલ Unique Registration Number
દેખાશે. મવદ્યાથીએ આ યમુનક રજીસ્રેશન નાંબર િમવટયના બધા જ વ્યવહાર અને ઓનલાઈન પ્રવેશ
પ્રહિયા માટે ઉપયોગ કરવાનો રહશેે.

Once student is registered, he/she will be allowed to access the application using
Registration No. PIN No. and captcha codes displayed in the above process.
On successful login, application form will be displayed on the screen as in step 4.

Step 4: Application Form
સ્ટેપ ૪: અરજી ફોમમ A. Student Details:
ક. મવદ્યાથીની માહહતી:
All students have to provide their category, marks of S.S.C. and marks details of H.S.C.
as shown below:
Students who select category as ‘SEBC’, shall provide valid ‘Non-Creamy layer
certificate number and ‘Issue Date of Certification’.
Note: Issue date of certificate must be during validity period for a SEBC category
applicant, if valid dated Non-Creamy layer certificate will not be provided, then
registration will be considered under “Open” category.
Students who have the qualifying examination from other than Gujarat Board and
CBSE school within the Gujarat State must obtain, provisional eligibility certificate
(PEC) from the Gujarat University before registration and fill the details of PEC in
online application form.

Students who are physical handicapped have to submit percentage of disability in
provided box. H.S.C. details section will lock after clicking next button. So make sure
all information including board, seat number, pass month and year, attempt and
stream must be correct as per your mark sheet.

જે મવદ્યાથીઓએ ગજુરાત બોડષ મસવાયના અ્ય બોડષમાાંથી અથવા ગજુરાત બહારના અ્ય સીબીએસસી
બોડષમાાંથી પરીક્ષા પાસ કરી હોય તેમણે ગજુરાત યમુનવસીટીમાાંથી “કામચલાઉ પ્રવેશ યોગ્યતા પ્રમાણપત્ર”
(PEC) મેળવી લઇ અને તેની માહહતી અરજી ફોમષમાાં લખવી જરૂરી છે.
શારીહરક ખોડ-ખાાંપણ ધરાવતા મવદ્યાથીએ આપેલ ખાનામાાં ખોડ-ખાાંપણના ટકા બતાવવા જરૂરી છે એચ.એસ.
સી. મવિાગ “NEXT” બટન ક્તલક કરતાાં લોક થઇ જશે એટલે મવદ્યાથીએ પોતાની માહહતી જેમ કે બોડષ, સીટ
નાંબર, પાસ કયાષનો મહહનો અને વર્ષ, પ્રયત્નની સાંખ્યા અને શાખા ગણુપત્રક પ્રમાણે છે કે નહહ તેની યોગ્ય
ચકાસણી કરી લેવી.
B. S.S.C. / H. S.C. Marks detail:
GSEB board student who has passed H.S.C. in 2019 in first attempt need not to enter
their marks, software will automatically fill marks after providing correct seat number
and above H.S.C details. (NAME) If there is any discrepancy or change in marks then
student has to contact center with supporting documents in original.
ખ. S. S. C. / H. S. C. માતસષ માહહતી
GSEB-Gujarat State Education Boardના મવદ્યાથીઓ કે જેમણે H. S. C. ની પરીક્ષા ૨૦૧૯માાં પ્રથમ
પ્રયત્ને પાસ કરેલ હોય તેમણે પોતાના માતસષ એ્ટર કરવાની જરૂર નથી. સોફ્ટવેર પોતાની મેળે જ આવા
મવદ્યાથીઓના સીટ નાંબર અને H. S. C.ની મવગત આપશે એટલે તેમના માતસષ દશાષવી દેશે. જો આમાાં કોઈ
ફેરફાર હોય તો મવદ્યાથીએ પોતાના મળૂ દસ્તાવેજ સાથે હલે્પ સે્ટરનો સાંપકષ કરવાનો રહશેે.

Student recent passport size photograph scanned copy in jpg format with
image size 10kb to 50kb is required to upload on online application.
Student signature scanned copy in jpg format with image size 5kb to 30kb is

મવદ્યાથીએ તાજેતરના પાસપોટષ ફોટોગ્રાફની સ્કેન કોપી JPG ફોરમેટમાાં આપવાની રહશેે, જેમાાં ફોટાની ઈમેજ સાઈઝ ૧૦kb થી ૫૦ kb ઓનલાઈન અરજીમાાં અપલોડ કરવા માટે બહુ જરુરી છે.
મવદ્યાથીની સહી સ્કેન કોપીમાાં JPG ફોરમેટમાાં ૫ kb થી ૩૦ kb માાં હોવી જરૂરી છે.

Step-6: Choice Filling
List of available colleges for B.A., B.J.M.C., options will be displayed in the choice filling page, select at least 1 college as per your preferences of area of specialization and convinces. Filters are available to make advance search i.e. – college type, medium, city and college shift.

Click on ‘Logout’ button in order to revisit the application form for any
change/correction. Doing this student should ensure that he/she submits the online
application form before scheduled deadline.
Click on ‘Submit’ button, if application form is filled up completely. Once the form is

Step-8: Verification of Application and Documents
Student who has passed HSC from Gujarat BOARD in 2019 and belongs to
GENERAL category and are not physically handicapped and whose marks fetched
automatically by the system need not required to visit for verification.
All other students need to visit the help center for verification and submission of
print application form and documents i.e. students who fill
(1) H.S.C. marks manually
(2) Student who belongs to reserved category (SC,ST,SEBC,EWS)
(3) Physically Handicapped &
(4) Any other student who needs correction (category or marks) in application
form has to visit help center up to last date of form submission.

5. View Result
As per college (Courses, medium etc.) choices given by students, allotment will be
done strictly on merit basis. Students can see result after login in the admission site as
per schedule. Those students who got the admission can see “Print Provisional

get admission, cannot see the same button & allotted institute name also will be blank.

All students who get admission have to pay fees in selected collection center of Kotak
Mahindra Bank and report to allotted college within the time scheduled to confirm
their admission. Without fees payment & college reporting the admission will be
cancelled for which GUAC will not be held responsible.

7. Prevention and Prohibition of Ragging
Objectives:
In view of the directions of the Honorable Supreme Court in SLP No. 24295 of 2006
dated 16-05-2007 and in Civil Appeal number 887 of 2009, dated 08-05-2009 to
prohibit, prevent and eliminate the scourge of ragging including any conduct by any
student or students whether by words spoken or written or by an act which has the
effect of teasing, treating or handling with rudeness a fresher or any other student, or
indulging in rowdy or undisciplined activities by any student or students which causes
or is likely to cause annoyance, hardship or psychological harm or to raise fear or
apprehension thereof in any fresher or any other student or asking any student to do
any act which such student will not in the ordinary course do and which has the effect
of causing or generating a sense of shame, or torment or embarrassment so as to
adversely affect the physique or psyche of such fresher or any other student, with or
without an intent to derive a sadistic pleasure or showing off power, authority or
superiority by a student over any fresher or any other student, in all higher education
institutions in the country, and thereby, to provide for the healthy development,
physically and psychologically, of all students.
What Constitutes Ragging:
Ragging constitutes one or more of any of the following acts:
1. Any conduct by any student or students whether by words spoken or written or
by an act which has the effect of teasing, treating or handling with rudeness a
fresher or any other student;
2. Indulging in rowdy or undisciplined activities by any student or students which causes or is likely to cause annoyance, hardship, physical or psychological harm or to raise fear or apprehension thereof in any fresher or any other student;
3. Asking any student to do any act which such student will not in the ordinary course
do and which has the effect of causing or generating a sense of shame, or torment
or embarrassment so as to adversely affect the physique or psyche of such fresher
or any other student;

4. Any act by a senior student that prevents, disrupts or disturbs the regular academic activity of any other student or a fresher;
5. Exploiting the services of a fresher or any other student for completing the academic tasks assigned to an individual or a group of students.
6. Any act of financial extortion or forceful expenditure burden put on a fresher or any other student by students;
7. Any act of physical abuse including all variants of it: sexual abuse, homosexual
assaults, stripping, forcing obscene and lewd acts, gestures, causing bodily harm
or any other danger to health or person;
8. Any act or abuse by spoken words, emails, posts, public insults which would also include deriving perverted pleasure, vicarious or sadistic thrill from actively or passively participating in the discomfiture to fresher or any other student
9. Any act that affects the mental health and self-confidence of a fresher or any other student with or without an intent to derive a sadistic pleasure or showing off power, authority or superiority by a student over any fresher or any other student.
MANDATORY DISCLOSURE:
1. Ragging is totally banned and anyone found guilty of ragging and/or abetting ragging is liable to be punished.
2. The Appendix-I should be filled up and signed by the candidate to the effect that
he / she is aware of the law regarding prohibition of ragging as well as the
punishments, and that he/she, if found guilty of the offence of ragging and / or
abetting ragging, is liable to be punished appropriately.
3. The affidavit-II should be signed by the parent/guardian of the applicant to the
effect that he/she is also aware of the law in this regard and agrees to abide by the
punishment meted out to his/her ward in case the latter is found guilty of ragging
and / or abetting ragging.
4. A student seeking admission to the hostel shall have to submit another affidavit
along with his/her application for hostel accommodation that he / she is also
aware of the law in this regard and agrees to abide by the punishments meted out
if he / she is found guilty of ragging and / or abetting ragging.

5. The first year students should desist from doing anything against their will even if
ordered by the seniors, and that they have nothing to fear as the institution cares
for them and shall not tolerate any atrocities against them.
6. A student securing admission to a particular institute shall have to submit
concern affidavits to the principal of institute.
Actions to be taken against students for indulging and abetting ragging in all
Government, Grant-in-Aid and un-aid Colleges/ Institutes and all schools and
departments of the University:
1. The punishment to be meted out to the persons indulged in ragging has to be
exemplary and justifiably harsh to act as a deterrent against recurrence of such
incidents.
2. Every single incident of ragging a First Information Report (FIR) must be filed
without exception by the institutional authorities with the local police authorities.
3. The Anti-Ragging Committee of the institution shall take an appropriate decision,
with regard to punishment or otherwise, depending on the facts of each incident
of ragging and nature and gravity of the incident of ragging.
4. Depending upon the nature and gravity of the offence as established the possible
punishments for those found guilty of ragging at the institution level shall be any
one or any combination of the following,
a. Cancellation of admission
b. Suspension from attending classes
c. Withholding / withdrawing scholarship / fellowship and other benefits
d. Debarring from appearing in any test / examination or other evaluation process
e. Withholding results
f. Debarring from representing the institution in any regional,
national or international meet, tournament, youth festival, etc.
g. Suspension / expulsion from the hostel
h. Rustication from the institution for period ranging from 1 to 4 semesters

i. Expulsion from the institution and consequent debarring from admission to any other institution.
j. Collective punishment: when the persons committing or abetting the crime of ragging are not identified, the institution shall resort to collective punishment as a deterrent to ensure community pressure on the potential raggers.
An appeal against the order of punishment by the Anti-Ragging Committee shall lie, 1. In case of an order of an institution, affiliated to or constituent part, of the
University, to the Vice-Chancellor of the University; 2. In case of an order of a University, to its Chancellor. 3. In case of an institution of national importance created by an Act of Parliament,
to the Chairman or Chancellor of the institution, as the case may be. The institutional authorities shall intimate the incidents of ragging occurred in their
premises along with actions taken to the University form time to time.

ગજુરાત યમુનવમસિટી એડમમશન કમમટી વર્ષ 2019-20
મવધ્યાથીઓ માટે અગત્યની સચૂનાઓ
1. PIN અંિે:
a. ગજુરાત યમુનવમસિટીના મવમવધ કોર્ષમાાં એડમીશનમાટેની PINન ુમવતરણ જે તે કોલેજમાાંથી કરવામાાં આવશે. મવદ્યાથીઓએ જે કોર્ષમાાં પ્રવેશ મેળવવો હોય તે કોર્ષની પોતાને અનકુુળ કોલેજ માાંથી PIN મેળવી શકાશે.
b. સ્નાતક કક્ષાના (B.A./B.J.M.C.) કોર્ષની PINની હકમત રૂ.૧૨૫/- તથા અનસુ્નાતક કક્ષાના (M.A./MSW/MLW/B.LIB./M.LIB.) કોર્ષની PINની હકિંમત રૂ.૧૭૫/- છે.
c. મવદ્યાથીએ કોલેજ પરથી PIN ખરીદતી વખતે તે PIN પોતાના કોર્ષ અંગેની છે કે નહહ તે અંગેની ખાતરી કરવી.
d. SEALED (સીલ) PIN ખરીદવાનો આગ્રહ રાખવો.
e. PINન ુમવતરણ જે તે કોલેજના સમય દરમ્યાન કરવામાાં આવતુાં હોય તે કોલેજના સમય દરમ્યાન PIN લેવા જવુાં.
f. મવદ્યાથીએ પોતાની PINની માહહતી અ્ય કોઈપણ વ્યક્તતને આપવી નહહ – તેનો દુરુપયોગ થવાની સાંિાવના રહ ેછે.
g. PINનો ઉપયોગ GUAC દ્વારા જાહરે કરવામાાં આવેલ સમયપત્રક / તારીખ મજુબ કરવાનો રહશેે. h. જો કોઈ મવદ્યાથી પોતાનો PIN નાંબર ભલૂી ગયો / ખોવાયેલ હોય હશ ેતો પોતે login કરીન ેએક
વખત પોતાનો PIN નાંબર પોતાના રજીસ્ટડષ મોબાઇલમાાં મેળવી શકશે. ત્યારબાદ બીજી-ત્રીજી વખત ખોવાયેલ PINની મવગત મેળવવા GUAC, IAS રેનીંગ સે્ટર, ગજુરાત યમુનવમસિટી ખાતેથી રૂબરૂમાાં મેળવી શકશે. તે અંગે દરેક વખતે રૂ. ૫૦/- ફી ચકુવવાની રહશેે.
2. પ્રમાણપત્રોની ચકાસણી:
a. નીચે જણાવેલ મવધાથીઓના Documents નુાં વેહરહફકેશન કરવાની સાંપણૂષ જવાબદારી જે-તે કોલેજની રહશેે. પ્રથમ પ્રવેશ રાઉ્ડ GUAC દ્વારા કરવામાાં આવશે, તેથી Verification અંગેની તમામ જવાબદારી કોલેજની રહશેે. Verificationમાાં થયેલ ભલૂ અંગે GUAC જવાબદાર રહશેે નહીં. આ અંગે થયેલ ભલૂ અંગે મવદ્યાથીઓ કોલેજના આચાયષનો સાંપકષ કરવો અને મવધ્યાથીઓએ GUAC ખાતે આવવાનુાં રહતે ુાં નથી. જેની ખાસ નોંધ લેવી.
(i) વર્ષ 2019માાં ગજુરાત બોડષની પરીક્ષા
(ii) પ્રથમ પ્રયત્નમાાં પાસ કરનાર

(iii) જનરલ કેટેગરી (OPEN)ના એવા મવધાથીઓ જેમણે
(iv) બધાાં જ મવર્યોની પહરક્ષા વર્ષ 2019માાં પાસ કરી છે તેમનુાં પરીક્ષા વેહરહફકેશન કોલેજે કરવાનુાં રહતે ુાં નથી. પરાંત ુનીચે જણાવેલ કેટેગરીના મવધાથીઓએ ફરજજયાત પણે વેહરહફકેશન કરવાનુાં રહશેે. તેની જે તે મવધ્યાથીઓએ ખાસ નોંધ લેવી.
i. હરપીટર મવધાથીઓ (ગયા વરે્ નાપાસ થયેલ પરાંત ુચાલ ુવરે્ પાસ થયેલ અને બધાાં મવર્યની પરીક્ષા ન આપેલ હોય પણ EXEMPTION મસવાયના મવર્યોની પરીક્ષા આપેલ હોય
ii. અનામત કેટેગરીના મવધાથીઓ જેવાાં કે SC/ST/SEBC/EWS.
iii. ગજુરાત બોડષ અને ગજુરાત રાજ્યની ફતત CBSE બોડષ મસવાયના અ્ય તમામ બોડષના મવધાથીઓ જેમણે પ્રોમવજનલ એલીજીબીલીટી સહટિહફકેટ (PEC) મેળવવાનુાં ફરજજયાત હોય છે.
a. ગજુરાત રાજ્ય બોડષ, ગજુરાત રાજયમાાં આવેલ CBSE શાળાના મવધ્યાથીઓએ PEC કઢાવવાની જરૂર નથી.
b. ગજુરાત રાજ્ય બોડષ, ગજુરાત રાજયમાાં આવેલ CBSE શાળાના તમામ મવધ્યાથીઓ મસવાયના તમામ મવધ્યાથીઓએ પ્રવેશ વખતે PEC રજૂ કરવાનુાં રહશેે.
c. ગજુરાત રાજ્ય બહાર આવેલ શાળાના તમામ મવધ્યાથીઓએ રજીસ્રેશન વખતે PEC મેળવવાનુાં રહશેે.
d. ગજુરાત રાજ્ય કે રાજ્ય બહારના NIOS બોડષના તમામ મવધ્યાથીઓએ રજીસ્રેશન વખતે PEC મેળવવાનુાં રહશેે.
iv. શારીહરક અક્ષમતા અંગેનુાં મસમવલ સર્જનનુાં 40% કે તેથી વધ ુઅપાંગતા અંગેનુાં પ્રમાણપત્ર ધરાવતા હોય.
v. અ્ય લાગ ુપડતાાં પ્રમાણપત્રો (દા.ત. Free-ship Card, Ex-Serviceman, શહીદો માટેનુાં એફીડેવીટ, વગેરે)
vi. વર્ષ 2019 અગાઉ પાસ થયેલ મવધાથીઓ
vii. Economical Weaker Section (EWS)ના મવધ્યાથીઓના પ્રમાણપત્રો. આ અંગેની ઉપયોગી તમામ માહહતીની Link વેબસાઈટ પર આપવામાાં આવે છે જે જોઈ તપાસી-ચકાસી લેવી. આ મવધ્યાથીઓએ સક્ષમ અમધકારીનુાં પ્રમાણપત્ર રજીસ્રેશન વખતે રજૂ કરવાનુાં રહશેે.
b. મવધાથીઓના documents verification કરતી વખતે જે મવધાથીઓની એક કરતાાં વધારે Marksheet હોય તેમજ Practical વાળા મવર્ય હોય તેની ખાસ કાળજી રાખવી. મેરીટ થીયરીના અને External માતસષને આધારે જ તૈયાર કરવુાં. પે્રષ્તટકલના અને Internal માતસષ મેરીટમાાં ધ્યાનમાાં લેવામાાં આવશે નહહ. તેનો ઉપયોગ માત્ર રાઈડર માટે થશે.

c. જે બોડમ દ્વારા માકમશીટ જે તે વવષયમા ં Theory અને Practicalના મેળવેલ માકમસ દશામવેલ હોય તેવા વવદ્યાર્થીઓએ જે તે વવષયના ર્થીયરી અને પે્રક્ટીકલના ંમાકમસનુ ંવિીકરણ દશામવત ુ ંપ્રમાણ૫ત્ર પોતાની શાળાના આચાયમ કે / બોડમન ુ ંમેળવવાનુ ંરહશેે. પ્રવેશ માટે મેરીટ ર્થીયરીના ંમાકમસ ૫રર્થી બનતુ ંહોય આવ ુપ્રમાણ૫ત્ર
જરુરી છે, આ પ્રમાણ૫ત્ર વિરના ંવવદ્યાર્થીઓનુ ંમેરીટ બની શકશે નહી તેમજ પ્રવેશ પ્રક્રીયા ર્થઇ શકશે નહી એની દરેક વવદ્યાર્થીએ નોંધ લેવી. દા.ત:- કમ્પ્યટુર /આકડાશાસ્ત્ર Theory મા ં40 માકમસ હોય તો કેટલા માર્થી અને Practical ના 22 હોય તો કેટલા માર્થી તેવુ ંપ્રમાણપત્ર લાવવુ.ં નમનૂો નીચે પ્રમાણે છે. Statistics 40/70 22/30 62/100
તેવીજ રીતે External અને Internal માકમસનુ ં વિીકારણ પણ મેળવવુ.ં વવધાર્થીનુ ં મેરીટ Theory અને
External માકમસના આધારે તૈયાર ર્થશે. – મેરીટ માટે Practical અને Internal માકમસ ધ્યાને લેવાશે નહીં
d. વેહરહફકેશન વખતે મવધાથીઓ દ્વારા થયેલ નીચેની ભલૂો કોલેજ દ્વારા સધુારી શકાશે જે અંગેના જરૂરી પ્રમાણપત્રો કોલેજે પોતાની પાસે રાખવા જેથી કરીને મેરીટ ભલસ્ટ તૈયાર કરતી વખતે અને મવવાદના સમયે આ પરુાવાઓ આધાર તરીકે રજૂ કરી શકાય.
ભલૂોનાાં પ્રકાર: જ્મ તારીખમાાં ભલૂ, જામતમાાં ભલૂ, હરપીટર મવધાથીઓની Marksheet, 2019 અગાઉ પાસ થયેલ
મવધાથીઓ અથવા અ્ય બોડષનાાં મવધાથીઓ દ્વારા ખોટાાં િરાયેલ ગણુો વગેરે. આ સધુારાઓ Provisional Merit
List પહલેાાં કોલેજે કરવાના રહશેે.
નોંધ: નામ અથવા મોબાઈલ નાંબરમાાં ભલૂ હશે તો કોઈપણ સાંજોગોમાાં કોલેજ દ્વારા સધુારો થઈ શકશે નહીં. આ
અંગે મવધાથીએ GUAC ખાતે જરૂરી ફી રૂ. 50 િરીને મેરીટ ભલસ્ટ મકુાય તે પહલેાાં સધુારો કરાવી શકશે. જે અંગે
મવધાથીએ જરૂરી પરુાવા આપવાના રહશેે.
e. વેહરહફકેશનનુાં કામ ખબૂજ કાળજીપવૂષક કરાવવુાં કારણ કે મેરીટ ભલસ્ટનો સાંપણૂષ આધાર વેહરહફકેશન પ્રહિયા પર રહલે છે. તેમાાં કોઈપણ પ્રકારની ભલૂ રહશેે તો તે અંગે કોલેજ અને આચાયષશ્રીની જવાબદારી રહશેે. મવધ્યાથીઓએ તમામ માહહતી સાચી પરૂી પાડવાની રહશેે અ્યથા તેમનો પ્રવેશ રદ્દ થશે.
જે મવધાથીઓનાાં વેહરહફકેશન કરવાના હોય તેવા તમામ મવધાથીઓને Inward Number આપવામાાં આવશે.
આ Inward Number slip બે િાગમાાં હશે. એક િાગ મવધાથીને મળશે અને બીજો િાગ મવધાથીની
અરજી/ફોમષ સાથે સ્ટેપલ કરી કોલેજ રાખશે. આ slip પર કોલેજનો Code નાંબર અને કોલેજનો ગોળ મસક્કો
મારેલ હોવો જોઈએ અને જે તે અમધકારીએ સહી કરેલ Inward Slip અચકૂથી મેળવવી.
f. જે મવધાથીઓને કોઈપણ મવર્યમાાં ગ્રેમસિંગ મળેલ હોય તો તેવા મવધાથીઓનાાં ગ્રેમસિંગ મસવાયનાાં માકષ ધ્યાનમાાં લેવામાાં આવશે. દા.ત. 24 + 9 = 33 હોય તો 33 ના બદલે 24 માકષ મેરીટ માટે ધ્યાનમાાં લેવા. તેથી મવધ્યાથી ગ્રેમસિંગ મસવાયના માકષસ ફોમષમાાં લખવા.

3. પ્રવેશ અંિેની કામિીરી: પ્રથમ રાઉ્ડ:
a. મવદ્યાથીઓએ GUAC દ્વારા નક્કી કરેલ સમય મયાષદામાાં પોતાનુાં રજીસ્રેશન કરાવવુાં અને પ્રવેશ ફોમષ સાંપણૂષરીતે િરીને રજીસ્રેશન ફોમષની મપ્ર્ટ કાઢવી, જરૂર હોય તેવા મવધ્યાથીઓએ જે તે કોર્ષની કોલેજમાાં વેહરહફકેશન કરાવીને ફોમષ સબમમટ કરાવવુાં તેમજ ઇનવડષ સ્લીપ લેવાની રહશેે.
b. પ્રથમ રાઉ્ડમાાં પ્રવેશ મળ્યા બાદ મવધ્યાથીએ પોતાના લૉગઇનમાાં જઈને બે્ક ફી માટેની પાવતી મપ્ર્ટ લઈને કોટક મહહ્રા બે્કમાાં અથવા ઓનલાઈન ફી િરવાની રહશેે.
c. ફી િયાષ બાદ જે તે કોલજેમાાં હરપોહટિંગ કરાવ્યા બાદ જ મવધ્યાથીઓનો પ્રવશે ફાઇનલ થશે. એટલ ેકે પ્રવેશ ક્ફમષ / ફાઇનલ કરાવવા હરપોહટિંગ જરૂરી છે.
d. મળેલ પ્રવેશમાાં ફેરફાર: જે મવદ્યાથીઓ ફી િરેલ હોય અને રીપોટીંગ કરાવેલ હોય તેમને કોલેજ માધ્યમ / મવર્ય બદલી આપવામાાં આવશે નહહ. તેથી પ્રવેશ ફોમષ િરતી વખતે બકુલેટ અને અ્ય સચૂનાઓનો સિાનતાપવૂષક અભ્યાસ કરવો અને પ્રવેશની કામગીરી કરવી.
e. શૈ.વ. ૨૦૧૯-૨૦ GUAC દ્વારા પ્રથમ રાઉ્ડ કરવામાાં આવશે. આ પ્રથમ રાઉ્ડમાાં ફી િરીન ેરીપોટીંગ કરેલ અને પ્રવેશ રદ્દ કરાવેલ મવદ્યાથી પ્રથમ રાઉ્ડ પછીના રાઉ્ડમાાં – Online Registration Offline Admission પ્રહિયામાાં િાગ લઇ શકશે નહહ.
f. પ્રથમ રાઉ્ડમાાં જે મવધાથીને પ્રવેશ ફાળવવામાાં આવેલ છે અને પ્રવેશ લીધેલ નથી અને કોલેજ દ્વારા online registration થી offline પ્રવેશ આપવામાાં આવે ત્યારે (GUAC ની જાહરેાત બાદ) તેવા મવધાથીને Inter-se મેહરટના આધારે પ્રવેશ મળશે. જો આ અગાઉ મવધ્યાથીએ બેંકમાાં ફી િરેલ હશે તો 10% રકમ બાદ થઈ, ફી પરત મળશે. પરાંત ુતેમણે નવા ઓફલાઇન પ્રવેશ વખતે જે તે કોલેજમાાં પણૂષ ફી િરવાની રહશેે. અગાઉ GUAC ખાતે ચકૂવેલ ફી માાંથી 10% રકમ કાપીને પ્રવેશ કામગીરી પણૂષ થયા બાદ મવદ્યાથીન ેચકૂવવામાાં આવશે.
ખાસ નોંધ: પ્રર્થમ રાઉન્ડમા ંજે વવદ્યાર્થી બેંકમા ંફી ભરીને કોલેજમા ંહાજર ર્થશે / રીપોટમ કરશે. તે વવદ્યાર્થી
બીજા/ત્રીજા રાઉન્ડમા ંભાિ લઇ શકશે નરહ.
પ્રર્થમ રાઉન્ડ બાદ Inter-se Merit તૈયાર કરતી વખતે Information Booklet 2019-20ના વનયમ ક્રમાકં
12.2 ને ધ્યાનમા ંલેવા.
બીજો રાઉ્ડ:
બીજા રાઉ્ડ વખતે તેની તારીખ / જાહરેાત બાદ

(i) રજીસ્રેશન ફોમષની નવી મપ્ર્ટ આઉટ લેવી જેના પર મવધ્યાથીનો (ક્ફમષ એડમમશન મસવાયના) General Rank, Category Rank, Sub-Category અને ટકાવારી ઉપરાાંત Online Registration and Offline Admission (Round-2) પણ છપાયેલ હશે.
(ii) જેની એક કરતાાં વધારે મપ્ર્ટ આઉટ લઈને જે તે કોલેજોમાાં પ્રવેશ મેળવવો હોય તે બધી જ કોલેજોમાાં કોલેજના સમય પ્રમાણે ફોમષ જમા કરાવવા.
(iii) ફોમષ જમા કરાવ્યા પછી મવધ્યાથીએ જે તે કોલેજ પાસેથી રસીદ અચકૂ મેળવવી. GUAC દ્વારા તૈયાર કરવામાાં આવેલ સમયપત્રક પ્રમાણે મવધ્યાથીએ જે કોલેજમાાં પ્રવેશ મળેલ છે ત્યાાં ફી િરવી તેમજ હરપોહટિંગ કરવુાં. હરપોહટિંગ કરેલ મવધ્યાથી કે પ્રવેશ રદ્દ કરાવેલ મવધ્યાથી ત્રીજા રાઉ્ડમાાં િાગ લઈ શકશે નહીં.
(iv) પ્રથમ રાઉ્ડનુાં ફોમષ બીજા રાઉ્ડ માટે સ્વીકારવામાાં આવશે નહીં.
(v) કોલેજ પાસે પ્રથમ રાઉ્ડ બાદ જેટલી બેઠકો ખાલી રહશેે તેટલી જ બેઠકો માટે મેરીટ બનાવવુાં.
ત્રીજો રાઉ્ડ:
ત્રીજા રાઉ્ડમાાં એડમમશનમાટે પાત્રતા ધરાવતા તમામ
a. રજજસ્ટડષ થયેલા મવધ્યાથીઓ:
(i) રજજસ્ટડષ મવધ્યાથીઓએ રજીસ્રેશન ફોમષની નવી મપ્ર્ટ આઉટ લેવાની રહશેે, જેના પર ધોરણ:12 ની ટકાવારી ઉપરાાંત Online Registration and Offline Admission (Round-3) છપાયેલ હશે.
(ii) જૂના રજજસ્ટડષ થયેલ મવધ્યાથીએ અગાઉ વેહરહફકેશન કરાવેલ હોય ફતત રજીસ્રેશન ફોમષ સાથે જરૂરી દસ્તાવેજ જે તે કોલેજ માાં જમા કરાવવાના રહશેે.
(iii) મવધ્યાથી ફોમષ જમા કરાવ્યાની રસીદ કોલેજ પાસથેી અચકૂ મેળવી લેવી.
(iv) પ્રથમ રાઉ્ડ અને બીજા રાઉ્ડનુાં રજીસ્રેશન ફોમષ ત્રીજા રાઉ્ડ માટે સ્વીકારવામાાં આવશે નહીં.
(v) રજીસ્રેશન ફોમષની એક કરતાાં વધારે મપ્ર્ટ આઉટ લઈને જે તે કોલેજોમાાં પ્રવેશ મેળવવો હોય તે બધી જ કોલેજોમાાં કોલેજના સમય પ્રમાણે ફોમષ જમા કરાવવા.
b. રજજસ્ટડષ નહીં થયેલા મવધ્યાથીઓ:
(vi) રજજસ્ટડષ નહીં થયેલા મવધ્યાથીઓનુાં રજીસ્રેશન બીજો રાઉ્ડ પરૂો થયા બાદ કરી શકશે. (vii) ત્રીજા રાઉ્ડ વખતે નવા રજજસ્ટડષ થયેલ મવધ્યાથીઓએ પ્રમાણપત્રોનુાં જે તે કોલેજમાાં મવહરહફકેશન
કરાવીને જમા કરાવવાના રહશેે.
(viii) મવધ્યાથી ફોમષ જમા કરાવ્યાની રસીદ કોલેજ પાસથેી અચકૂ મેળવી લેવી.

(ix) મવધાથીને પ્રથમ રાઉ્ડમાાં ફાળવવા આવેલ કોલેજમાાં પોતે પ્રવેશ ન લે તો બીજા રાઉ્ડમાાં અને ત ેપછીના રાઉ્ડમાાં તેની પ્રથમ રાઉ્ડની ફાળવણી અંગે અમધકાર રહશેે નહહ
(x) રજીસ્રેશન ફોમષની એક કરતાાં વધારે મપ્ર્ટ આઉટ લઈને જે તે કોલેજોમાાં પ્રવેશ મેળવવો હોય તે બધી જ કોલેજોમાાં કોલેજના સમય પ્રમાણે ફોમષ જમા કરાવવા.
4. ફી ચકુવણી :- Kotak Mahindra Bank ની કોઈ પણ શાખામાાં ચકુવણી કરી શકાશે.(અમદાવાદ અને ગાાંધીનગર જીલ્લાની શાખા) મવધાથીઓ Online ફી િરી શકશ.ે ગ્રામ્ય મવસ્તારમાાં જ્યાાં Kotak Mahindra Bank ની બ્રા્ચ ન હોય ત્યાાં બેંક દ્વારા કોલેજની પ્રવેશ કામગીરી દરમ્યાન કાઉ્ટર પરુા પાડવામાાં આવશે.
જે મવધાથીઓ એ ધોરણ ૧૨ કે તેની સમકક્ષ પરીક્ષા શૈક્ષભણક વર્ષ ૨૦૧૯ પહલેા પાસ કરેલ છે તેમના રજીસ્રેશન
ની કામગીરી તારીખ 10-05-2019 થી શરૂ થશે.
આ તમામ મવધાથીઓએ જે ફેકલ્ટીમાાં પ્રવેશ મેળવવો હોય તે ફેકલ્ટીની કોલેજમાાં પોતાના ડોક્યમેુ્ટનુાં
વેરીફીકેશન કરાવવુાં ફરજીયાત છે. જો વેરીફીકેશન કરાવેલ નહહ હોયતો તેમનુાં મેરીટ બનશે નહહ. તેમજ પ્રવેશ
મળશે નહી મવધાથીઓએ વેરીહફકશન કરાવ્યાની Inward Slip કોલેજમાાંથી અચકૂ મેળવી લેવી જેથી કોઈપણ
પ્રકારની ભલૂ ના હકસ્સામાાં તેનુાં મનવારણ લાવી શકાય.

9. શહીદ સૈમનકના બાળકો માટે: રાજ્ય સરકાર / કે્ર સરકારની કોઈપણ સરુક્ષા ફોસષમાાં ફરજ બજાવતા સરુક્ષા કમી On Duty વીરગમત પ્રાપ્ન્દત કરેલ હોય તેવા સરુક્ષા કમીઓના પતુ્ર / પતુ્રીને PG, M.Phil અને Ph.D.

1. પ્રર્થમ રાઉન્ડ પછી કોલેજ દ્વારા Inter-se Merit ના આધારે બીજા અને ત્રીજા રાઉન્ડની પ્રવેશ કાયમવાહી અંિેની બાબતો હવે પછી વેબ-સાઇટ પર મકૂવામા ંઆવશે અને તે પ્રમાણે પ્રવેશની કાયમવાહી કરવી.
2. મધ્યસ્ર્થ પ્રવેશને લિતા ંતમામ પ્રકારના પરરપત્રો જે-તે સમયે ગજુરાત યવુન. ની વેબસાઇટ પર મકૂવામા ંઆવશે. GUAC દ્વારા કોઈપણ પ્રકારનો પત્ર વ્યવહાર કરવામા ંઆવશે નરહ. GUAC આપને વનયવમત પણે ગજુરાત યવુન. ની વેબસાઇટ જોવા આગ્રહ ભરી વવનતંી કરે છે.
3. GUAC દ્વારા કરવામા ંઆવતી પ્રવેશ પ્રરક્રયાના પ્રર્થમ રાઉન્ડ બાદ બીજો અને ત્રીજો રાઉન્ડ GUAC વનરદિષ્ટ વનયમો મજુબ કોલેજ કક્ષાએ પ્રવેશ કાયમવાહી કરવાની રહશેે.
10. ફી રીફાંડ :
a. મવધાથી ફી િયાષ બાદ જે તે કોલેજમાાં હરપોહટિંગ કરાવ્યાના 10 હદવસમાાં પ્રવેશ રદ્દ કરાવશે તો તેની ફી ના ૧૦% રકમ કાપી ને પ્રવેશ કામગીરી પણૂષથયા બાદ પ્રથમ રાઉ્ડની ફી GUAC દ્વારા અને ત્યારબાદ ના રાઉ્ડની જે તે કોલેજ દ્વારા પરત કરવામાાં આવશે . તા ૩૧-૦૮-૨૦૧૯ પછીરદ થયેલ પ્રવેશની ફી પરત થશે નહહ. પ્રથમ રાઉ્ડ બાદની ફી રીફાંડની કાયષવાહી જે તે કોલેજ દ્વારા કરવામાાં આવશે.

(1) ગજુરાત યમુનવમસિટીના સ્નાતક અને અનસુ્નાતક કક્ષાનાાં અભ્યાસિમોની વર્ષ 2019-20ની પ્રવેશ પ્રહિયામાાં આ ઠરાવનો અમલ કરવો.
(2) દરેક પ્રોગ્રામ માટે દરેક કોલજેને કાયમી મા્યતા આપવામાાં આવેલ વગોની સાંખ્યા અને મવધ્યાથીની સાંખ્યાના આધારે આ ૧૦% અનામતની જોગવાઈ કરવી.
