12 Month Warranty The Redsbaby HiLO High Chair and its accessories come with a 12 Month Warranty to cover against faults in materials and workmanship when your products are used under normal conditions, according to our user manuals and technical specifications.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement, or refund, for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired, or replaced, if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

The 12 Month Warranty period starts from the date your product(s) are dispatched from our warehouse. This includes products that are purchased via pre-order (for example items that are out of stock or newly launching products). For a claim to be valid, it must be made within the claims period.

Your 12 Month Warranty covers manufacturing defects relating to your Redsbaby HiLO High Chair and HiLO High Chair accessories.

To the extent permitted by law, the following are not covered by warranty:

• Failure or defects resulting from improper care or use;

• Normal wear and tear including scratches to any part of the product;

• Products purchased second hand or from an unauthorised distributor;

• Fading or discolouration of fabrics and materials due to washing, food stains, cleaning and/or excessive sun exposure;

• installation of a part or accessory not compatible with the product and/or not manufactured by Redsbaby;

• Accidental or intentional damage, abuse or neglect;

• Damage as a result of normal handling and daily use;

• Consumer dissatisfaction with the product in terms of disliking the weight, functionality, colour or style;

• if the batch number sticker has been damaged or removed; and

• When the product has not been used for normal use and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

How to make a warranty claim To submit a warranty claim please visit the Support Centre page on our website, www.redsbaby.com.au and complete the Warranty Claim form. The more detailed you are with your description of the defect, the quicker we will be able to process your warranty claim. Once your form has been submitted, a member of our Customer Care team will contact you within seven (7) business days. Depending on the nature of the claim, we may send out a replacement part to resolve the issue. Alternatively you can call our Customer Care team on 1300 344 964.

Please read the following warnings and safety precautions thoroughly before using your Redsbaby HiLO High Chair. After unpacking, immediately discard any plastic wrapping and packaging materials, as these can lead to a choking hazard.

• Follow the manufacturer's instructions.• Do not leave children unattended.• The harness must always be used and correctly fitted –

most injuries from high chairs are caused by falls.• Position the high chair away from solid structures and

benches to avoid injuries caused by falls and by access to dangerous items.

• Never leave the child unattended.• Always use the restraint system.• Falling hazard: Prevent your child from climbing on the

product.

• Do not use the product unless all components are correctly fitted and adjusted according to these assembly instructions.

• Be aware of the risk of open fires and other sources of strong heat in the vicinity of the product.

• Be aware of the risk of tilting when your child can push its feet against a table or any other structure.

• Do not use this product if your child cannot sit up unaided.

• The Redsbaby HiLO High Chair is intended for children able to sit up unaided and up to 3 years or a maximum weight of 15kg (33lbs).

• Only use the Redsbaby HiLO High Chair on a flat, even and horizontal floor and do not elevate the high chair on any structure or table.

• To reduce the risk of injury, position the high chair away from furniture, walls, hot surfaces and liquids, window covering cords, and electrical cords.

• Do not use your Redsbaby HiLO High Chair if any screws are loose or missing or if any component is damaged.

• Position the Redsbaby HiLO High Chair away from furniture when the high chair is not being used at a table with a tray removed.

• The Redsbaby HiLO High Chair should only be used in an upright position once the child is capable of reliably and consistently sitting upright.

• Ensure you follow the regular maintenance and care instructions included in this manual.

• Do not use the Redsbaby HiLO High Chair if it is not working correctly.

• if the Redsbaby HiLO High Chair is not in working order please seek repair from Redsbaby.

• Do not lift or carry the Redsbaby HiLO High Chair when a child is in it.

High Chair

1. Line up the legs (D) to the bottom of the seat unit (A) and use the long screws (S2) and Allen key (H) to fix each leg onto the seat unit.

Ensure the cross bar is positioned so that the slots for the footrest are facing the front.

2. Line up the cross bar (C) and use the remaining 4 long screws (S2) and the Allen Key (H) to fix the cross bar (C) onto the high chair legs.

Footrest

1. Line up the footrest (B) and use the two smaller screws (S1) and a Phillips head screwdriver to fix the footrest onto the cross bar.

IMPORTANT:

The footrest can be adjusted for your child’s height by following the instructions on page 17.

Adjusting the footrest

1. The footrest (B) can be adjusted to allow more space for your child's feet by unscrewing the footrest and turning it upside down and re-attaching it to the cross bar (C).

Harness

1. Pull the harness through the back of the seat unit.

Ensuring that it clicks in and is firmly in place.

2. Thread the bottom of the harness in the bottom of the seat unit. And thread the harness clip through, ensuring that it securely fixes the harness in place

Using the harness

Place your child’s arms through the straps and clip both sides into the centre buckle.

Adjust the shoulder and waist straps to the desired fit.

Attaching the T-bar

Attach the T-bar by firstly slotting the crotch tab into the seat unit. Then click the T-bar side tabs into place in the seat unit.

Removing the T-bar

To remove the T-bar, press the side tabs in where the T-bar joins onto the seat unit. Apply pressure and remove side tabs from seat unit.

Release the crotch tab from the base of the seat unit and pull upwards.

Attaching the food tray

Slide the food tray along the T-bar and click it into place along the sides of the seat unit.

IMPORTANT:

The food tray must be connected to the T-bar.

Removing the food tray

1. Pull the right side of the food tray from the right side of the seat unit.

2. Pull the left side of the food tray from the left side of the seat unit.

3. Slide the food tray away from the seat unit.

Attaching the short legs (optional accessory)

NOTE:

The harness fixation is firmly secured to the seat for the safety of your child and force is required to remove it.

1. Remove the food tray (if applicable) and T-bar from the HiLO seat unit.

2. Unclip the harness and remove the harness fixation. You may have to make several short and forceful contacts using the palm of your hand against the harness fixation to remove it.

3. Remove the crotch strap from the seat unit by unthreading the end of the harness from the plastic clip.

4. Unscrew the footrest and cross bar from the HiLO long legs.

5. Using an Allen key, unscrew the HiLO long legs from the seat unit. Keep these screws for securing the HiLO short legs onto the seat unit.

6. Using an Allen key, unscrew the rubberised tips from the long legs and transfer the tips to the short legs.

7. Screw the rubberised tips onto the short legs using an Allen key.

8. Secure the short legs onto the HiLO seat unit using screws taken from the long legs with an Allen key.

General Maintenance

• Regularly inspect the legs, harness assembly, joints and fixings to ensure they are secure and in full working order.

• Store the Redsbaby HiLO High Chair in dry, well-ventilated and safe space.

• Do not use your Redsbaby HILO High Chair if any screws are loose or missing or if any component is damaged.

Cleaning

Plastic and metal parts

• Sponge clean with warm water and a mild detergent and then air dry.

• Do not use any abrasive or corrosive cleaning products on your Redsbaby HiLO High Chair.

Safety Approval

Redsbaby HiLO High Chair complies with the EN14988:2017 and AS 4684:2009 safety requirements.
