Facts About Cytoplasm

A.The cytoplasm is the part of a cell that is enclosed within the cell wall {it fills the interior of the cell}

B. The main function of the cytoplasm is to hold the basic components {called cell organelles} which controls the activities and functions of the cell.



Facts About Nucleus

The nucleus consists of four basic sub structures – nuclear envelope, nucleolus, chromatin and nucleoplasm

Nuclear Envelope: selectively allows or controls the movement of certain substances or chemicals into or out of the cell nucleus.Chromatin: made up of very thin DNA strands which issues instructions for heredity and cell metabolism Nucleolus: Is the site where DNA instructions or information are duplicated or copied. It also helps in protein synthesis along side organelles called ribosomes.
