DANGERS OF BLEACH

NEVER combine sodium hypochlorite with ammonia or use at the same time

A toxic gas, a pure form of Chlorine, is produced and can cause chocking and serious breathing problems; some potentially explosive compounds are also made

Swallowing, smelling, or touching household bleach will likely not cause any significant problems

PURE BLEACH

Destroys tissue and causes red blood cells to burst

Can release a toxic overload of potassium that can cause a heart attack

If injected into blood, it can be fatal
