    CHALLENGES

WHAT WAYS WILL MAKE SURE THAT THE RIVER-

SIDE REGION IS RESILIENT ENOUGH TO REBOUND

    FROM FUTURE FLOODING ?

HOW CAN WE DEVELOP THE LANDSCAPE

    OF OSUMI ISLAND IN BERAT?

WHAT DESIGN SOLUTIONS WILL PROTECT THE

    RESIDENTS FROM FUTURE CLIMATE EVENTS?

HOW CAN DESIGN SHAPE THE POTENTIAL

    OF THE ISLAND?

    CAN WE SAVE THE BIODIVERSITY?

HOW CAN WE DEVELOP LOW COST/HIGH

    IMPACT SOLUTIONS?

    RIVER FLOW

    01River Flow

The scenario where the bridge is supporting thewater flow. The intensity of water fills up the river bed

and floods the wetlands. The river brings eluviationsuch as soils and pebbles.
