What makes Azercosmos DRS Universal?

• IP connection to two backbone optical lines that make network resilient and redundant• Telemetry, Tracking and Command (TT&C) services for LEO satellites either in LHCP or RHCP in

S-band*• High RF performances in terms of linearity and phase noise.• Various levels of interfaces with terminals, including ECL, TCP/IP (Raw mode of synchronized frames),

files with various possibilities of sorting (CADU)• Flexibility in bit rates, modulations and coding both for X and S-band telemetry. Cortex HDR allows

reception of very high bit rates and of high rank modulation schemes (i.e. 64PSK)• High number of X-band channels:

• up to four channels on same polarization, either LHCP or RHCP• up to two channels on each of the two polarization

• Capacity to receive data from satellites transmitting outside the classical X-band and in RHCP or LHCP or both simultaneously*

• Flexibility in management of satellite constellations• High EIRP: 53dBW

Azercosmos is the national satellite operator of Azerbaijan

that provides satellite-delivered telecommunication and Earth

observation services to customers in both the public and private

sectors. With a dedicated team of industry professionals, the

company operates three satellites: telecommunication satellites

Azerspace-1 and Azerspace-2, launched into orbit in 2013 and

2018 respectively, and the Earth Observation satellite Azersky

which was launched into space in 2014.

• Mild climate with very low rainfall

• Negligible risk in terms of floods, earthquakes, or other natural disasters

• Fencing, monitored entry, and CCTV

• Sky visibility – clear line of sight above 5° elevation above the horizon and from 0° to 360° azimuth

• Power availability – two commercial lines, 3P

• Backup power source: two diesel generators and two UPS available

• 24/7/365 technical support

Satellite imagery of Ghizil-Agaj State Reserve, the largest reserve in Azerbaijan and included on the list of UNESCO Ramsar convention, acquired via Azersky Earth Observation satellite
