LEFT/RIGHT

While watching a channel, the LEFT/RIGHT buttonsincreases or decreases the audio output volume.Within a menu, press the LEFT button to return toprevious menu and the RIGHT button to enter a sub-menu.

OKCall up a program list for the current channel whilewatching digital/TV or listening to the radio. In amenu, this button serves to confirm a selection.

Remote Control ManualStep 1Insert the batteries while observing the correct (+) and (-) polarities

Step 2The RED LED light will show as long when user Press the SET key on the learning remote

Battery InstallationInsert the batteries while observing the correct (+) and (-) polarities as illustrated below:

About the batteries If the remote control unit fails to work even when it is operated near the LCD TV / monitor,

please replace the batteries. Use size UM-4 (AAA) batteries.

Notes: Do not use rechargeable (Ni-Cd) batteries. Does not attempt to recharge, short circuit, disassemble heat or throw the batteries into the fire. Do not drop, step on or cause any impact to the remote control unit. This may damage it,

resulting malfunction. Do not mix old and new batteries.

If the remote control unit is not going to be used for a long time, remove the batteries.

CautionKeep batteries out of children’s reach. If batteries are swallowed, contact a physician immediately.

The red LED is a power indicator and the green LED is a signal indication.

5 INSTALLATION

5.1 CONNECTING THE RECEIVER 

Connect the antenna to the receiver.

Connect the receiver to TV set.

Connect the receiver to the speaker.

5.2 INSTALLATION GUIDE

Follow the installation guide to enjoy your high definition digital TV world. Follow thehelp information that at the bottom of thewindow to select preference menulanguage and suitable country (Region)and start channel search.

If no channel is found during the channelsearching process, the user may adjustthe antenna position to obtain optimal TVsignal.

6 DAILY USE

6.1 INFO. KEY

Press “INFO” key to displaying baseinformation bar during watching TVprograms. Press “INFO.” key twice todisplaying further more programinformation during watching TV.

6.2 AUDIO KEY

The program might have multilingualaudio language and the audio broadcaston different audio mode such as Stereo,Left or Right. All the available audiolanguages will display on the audio trackwindows while you press AUDIO key.The screenshot is illustrated below. If there is no audio output after you selectthe audio language, it indicates that thereis no audio on the current audio mode, soyou have to select preferable audio mode.

6.3 SUBCCKEY

The programs might have subtitleinformation. Press Sub/CC key to openthe CC. Press Sub/CC key again toClosed CC

6.4 ASPECT RATIO

The aspect ratio of the video can be 4:3(also know as Anamorphic Image) or 16:9(also know as widescreen TV). Normallythe aspect ratio of standard definitionvideo should be 4:3 and the highdefinition video should be 16:9. In order to get excellent quality on the TV set,press the ASPECT key to set suitableaspect ratio. The screenshot of theaspect ratio window is illustrated below.

Here is a description of how the aspect ratio conversion mode chosen, the received stream and theuser’s television set aspect ratios.

6.5 TELETEXT

Press TELETEXT key to launch theTELETEXT window during any TVchannels. The entire TELETEXT withdifferent language will display on theTELETEXT window.

6.6 EPG

Press EPG key to display the weeklyelectronic program guide. You could findwhen your enjoy program start and thesummary of your enjoy program.

6.7 TV CHANNEL AND RADIO

CHANNEL LIST

Press OK key to display all TVchannel or all Radio channel. Followthe help information at the bottom

of the window to select preferencechannel.

6.8 FAVOURITE CHANNEL

You can add preference channels to

favourite’s channel list on the

channel edit window. Press FAV keyto launch your favourite’s channellist.

6.9 PVR FUNCTION

Base on USB PVR function you couldrecord the preference program andplayback. Instant recording, EPGrecording and timer recording wereavailable.

6.9.1 Instant recording

Press REC. key to start instant recordingduring watch TV and the recordingsymbol would be display on the left top of 

the screen. Press INFO. key to get further more information of instant recording.Press STOP key to stop instant recording.

6.9.2 EPG recording

You will never loss any preference programbase on fully EPG recording feature. PressFAV key to start EPG recording while youbrowser the EPG. You also could edit or delete EPG recording event on schedulewindow.

6.9.3 Timer recordingYou could record preference program freelywith timer recording feature. Go to EPGwindow and press INFO key to enter to theschedule window. You could add, edit anddelete timer recording event on schedulewindow.

6.9.4 Playback recorded program

Press PVR key to display the recordedprogram. Follow the help information to

preview, playback the recorded programand edit the recorded program.

6.9.5 Multimedia player 

Multimedia player feature also has been integrated on the receiver. Press PVR key to displaymultimedia player window. You could show your preference photo, playing music and movie onmultimedia player. Known supported file were illustration below. NTFS, FAT32 and FAT16 file systemcould be supported at the moment.

6.9.6 Format portable hard disk

Format hard disk function also has been provided. Format hard disk would delete all the data on thehard disk. It is strongly recommended to backup all the data before format the hard disk.

7 MENU

7.1 MAIN MENU

Most function is available on main menu. Follow the operation help information on thebottom of the menu to modify preference option. The password was required while you

trying to modify the settings. Default password is “000000”,master password is “888888”.

8 UPDATE THE RECEIVER BY USB2.0 INTERFACE

8.1 COPY THE UPDATE FILE TO THE USB DRIVE FROM PC

1. Please go to service website or contact our customer service to get the latest software for

updating the Receiver.

2. Plug the USB drive to the PC and backup the entire data of the USB drive. Right clickthe USB drive and select Format item. Format the USB drive as FAT32 file system.

3. Copy the update file that name as “T610PLUS.XFW” to the root of the USB drive. Then

remove the USB drive from the PC.

Warning: The USB interface is for software upgrade of the Receiver only using a USB FlashDrive with FAT32 file system format. The USB interface could not support the USB Flash drivethat with U3 PRO System. Never connect a portable hard disk to the USB interface of theReceiver.

8.2 UPDATE THE RECEIVER BY USB INTERFACE

1. Plug the USB drive that with the update file to the USB interface of the receiver.2. Go to main menu, media and file manager, find T610PLUS.XFW and go and press blue key to

start upgrade process. While the upgrade progress showing 100% and update finish, remove theUSB flash drive and power on the receiver again.

3. Please set the receiver to the factory settings after reboot the receiver.NOTE: Please do not remove the USB drive from the receiver and power off the receiver during 

upgrading process. Otherwise the receiver may not work properly.
