To achieve the desired goals in relation to creating consciousness
about dangerous driving behavior, it will be critical for AXA to
• Understand the current driving habits & behaviors, perceptions
of drivers towards road safety
• Identify gaps in public knowledge towards road safety
behaviour
• Compare and trend results from previous year/s in terms of change in perceptions
Continuing AXA’s commitment towards road safety in Singapore,
it is important to create consciousness about dangerous driving
behaviors and communicate it widely among the public

INTERVIEW METHOD
• Private car owner: Self-completion via online interviews
• Taxi Drivers, Motorcyclists and Heavy / Light Good Vehicle
Drivers: Face to Face intercept interviews via CAPI*
TARGET GROUP1. Adult drivers, aged 18 years + with driving frequency of at least
once a month in the past 12 months
2. Drivers should belong to one of the driver segments below:
• Private Car Owner
• Taxi Driver
• Motorcyclist
• Heavy / Light Goods Vehicle Driver
ACHIEVED SAMPLE SIZEN=526 interviews comprising of:
• Private Car Owner: n= 301
• Taxi Driver: n=75
• Motorcyclist: n=75
• Heavy / Light Goods Vehicle Driver: n=75
