AWARD PROGRAM The multi-level Award Program is designed to help organizations advance in their performance excellence journey. Organizations receive an assessment by trained examiners using the Baldrige Excellence Framework. A detailed feedback report outlining strengths and opportunities is provided to help guide and prioritize the organization’s continuous improvement efforts. Organizations can apply for the Award Program at one of four levels: Interest (Level 1) Organizations applying at the Interest level are assigned a master examiner coach that facilitates two half-day workshops to help the organization conduct a self-assessment and identify next steps based on their strengths and opportunities. Commitment (Level 2) Organizations applying at the Commitment level will submit responses to the basic level questions of the Baldrige Excellence Framework and will receive a one-day site visit by an examiner team. Following receipt of the feedback report, the organization will receive a half-day on site action planning workshop. Achievement (Level 3) Organizations applying at the Achievement level will submit responses to the overall level questions of the Baldrige Excellence Framework and will receive a two-day site visit by an examiner team. Excellence (Level 4) Organizations applying at the Excellence level will submit responses to the multiple level questions of the Baldrige Excellence Framework and will receive a three-day site visit by an examiner team. Applicant organizations receive public recognition via press releases and at TNCPE’s annual Excellence Celebration. Examiners commit to volunteer service on an examiner team and are assigned to assess an organization applying to the Award Program. In addition to training on the Baldrige Excellence Framework, examiners receive professional development in conducting independent analysis, team building and consensus, interview skills, and report writing. BALDRIGE FOR BEGINNERS

The Baldrige for Beginners workshop is a one-day site orientation to the seven categories of the Baldrige Excellence Framework. The workshop incudes class discussions and activities designed to help participants use the basic level questions in each category to assess their own organization or area. Each participant will receive a copy of the Baldrige Excellence Framework.

DESIGN & DELIVER AN INTERNAL ASSESSMENT USING THE BALDRIGE EXCELLENCE FRAMEWORK

This two-day course provides participants with an in-depth education on the seven categories of the Baldrige Excellence Framework, as well as proven approaches and tools for gathering information and assessing their organization. Participants will also learn how to aggregate and prioritize data and information gathered during an assessment in order to guide continuous improvement.

ALIGNING YOUR ORGANIZATION FOR EXCELLENCE

This 12-hour (1.5 day), advanced workshop provides an in-depth focus on the Customer, Operations, and Results categories of the Baldrige Excellence Framework. It o�ers organizations a methodical approach for aligning customer requirements, key process requirements, and results, leading to an e�icient and e�ective systems perspective. Prior experience and understanding of the Baldrige Excellence Framework is a prerequisite for this workshop.

LEADERSHIP ORIENTATION

The one-hour Leadership Orientation is designed to introduce an organization’s senior leaders to the Baldrige Excellence Framework and how it can be used to help them define and achieve excellence for their organization.
