Day 1, Monday, May 25, 2020 - Arrival in Israel Arrival in Israel

SHALOM and welcome to Israel

Arrival in Israel. Group transfer from Ben Gurion Airport to

your hotel in Tel Aviv. After arrival and time to refresh, depart on a short orientation walking tour of the area near the hotel and the Tel Aviv

Promenade.

Day 2, Tuesday, May 26, 2020 - Tel Aviv Tel Aviv, the Promenade and Beach, Old Jaffa,

Neve Tzedek

After enjoying the famous Israeli breakfast at the hotel,

depart the hotel for a tour of Tel Aviv.

Start with a panoramic tour of the city. Visit Rabin Square, Tel Aviv University, the the Bauhaus section of the city, the

“white City”, Rothschild Boulevard, the Promenade, Jaffa

and the Jaffa port. Return to the hotel in early afternoon and

have time at leisure to enjoy the beach and the pool.

Day 3, Wednesday, May 27, 2020 - Tel Aviv, The

Depart your hotel to the Palmach Museum. The Palmach

Museum tells the story of the strike-force of the pre-state underground Haganah defense organization, which was later integrated into the Israel Defense Forces. After your visit depart Tel Aviv north along the Coastal Road to ancient

Caesarea. Explore the Roman and Crusader ruins including

the impressive 2,000-year-old theater which is still in use, the aqueduct. and the Caesarea Harbor. Enjoy a fascinating, multi-media presentation. Continue to the Druz village of Daly El

Carmel, visit the village and learn about the Druze population in Israel. Continue to the city of Haifa. Panoramic tour of the

city of Haifa and the Haifa port. View the golden- domed Baha’i Shrine and its breathtaking “hanging gardens”

– a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Day 4, Thursday, May 28, 2020 - Western & Northern

Galilee

Akko, Rosh Hanikra, The Sea of Galilee

Start your day with a visit to the ancient city of Akko ((Acre)

Visit Akko, the Crusader’s Halls and Market.

Continue north to Rosh Hanikra. Take the cable car down

into the Grottos. Visit the Grottos. Continue along the Israel Lebanon border across the Galilee to the city of Safed (Tzfat).

Safed is one of Judaism’s holiest cities, where the Kabbalah was developed in the 16th century; visit the ancient

synagogues and the charming artists’ quarters. End your day at Kibbutz Nof Ginosar located along the shores of the Sea of Galilee.

Day 5, Friday, May 29, 2020 - The Golan Heights Capernaum, The Banias, Birkat Ram, The

Golan

Start your day with a visit to Capernaum and visit the fantastic

ruins of the ancient synagogue dating back to the 5th century. Ascend to the Golan Heights. Visit Mount Bental, OZ 77

battlefields, Syrian bunkers and view over Kunetra.

Part of your tour will include a military briefing of the Syrian

area highlighting the different villages and forces. You will be able to view all on a military map and with binoculars. Before departing the Golan Heights visit a local boutique winery and

enjoy tastings of local Golan Heights wine and cheese. At the end of the day visit a working kibbutz and learn about the

history of the Kibbutz movement, its present and future.

Day 6, Saturday, May 30, 2020 - Jordan Valley, Jerusalem Beit She’an, Naharayim, dinner

Start your day with a panoramic view of the city of Tiberias. Drive south along the Jordan Valley to Naharayim, the site of

an old hydro electric water station on the Jordan River right on the Jordanian border and learn about the history of sharing the water resources of the area and the special Israeli/Jordanian agreements along the Jordan Valley. Continue south to Beit

She’an, Israel’s largest excavation site. Visit Beit She’an. After

your visit continue along the Jordan Valley, stop for a view ion Jericho and continue to the Judaea mountains to Jerusalem. Upon arrival in Jerusalem, stop for a special welcome to

Jerusalem from Mount Scopus, home to the Hebrew

University, offering majestic views of Jerusalem.

Check into the hotel, refresh and depart for a special Israeli dinner at the picturesque village of Ein Karem.

Day 7, Sunday, May 31, 2020 - Jerusalem, the Old City Jerusalem - The Old City and the Cardo

Your tour today includes the four quarters of the Old City. Start with panoramic observation over the City of David

Citadel. Walk through the Armenian Quarter, the smallest quarter of the old city to the Jewish Quarter. Walk down the

Temple Steps, the original set of 15 steps that led to the Jewish Temple’s entrance, the Western Wall (the Wailing Wall),

the holiest site in Judaism and the only visible remains of Herod’s splendid Second Temple. Visit the Davidson Center

and its archaeological garden, south of the Temple Mount, with its new multimedia presentation revealing Jerusalem in the days of Temple time.

Enter the Wall Tunnels, huge arched spaces located under the

north part of the Western Wall, apparently dug in the Hasmonean period (163 BC to 37 BC). Continue to the Cardo

(ancient Roman street of shops), the four Synagogues, Mt. Zion, David’s Tomb and the Herodian Mansion. Continue to to the Christian Quarter and walk along the Via Dolorosa,

“Road of Sorrow” to the Arab Market.

End the tour day with a special early Mediterranean grill dinner where the Jerusalemites like to eat!

After dinner, return to hotel, refresh and depart for the special “Night Spectacular”, light & sound show at the City of David.

Day 8, Monday, June 1, 2020 - Jerusalem, the New City Chagall Windows, Yad Vashen, Mt. Herzl, the

Menora, Shabbat celebration

Jerusalem - the New City. Start your day with a visit to Hadassah Medical Center to the see the Chagall Windows. Continue to Yad Vashem, Israel’s national Holocaust Memorial

and Museum. Visit the museum, the Children’s Pavilion and the Avenue of the Righteous. From there continue Mount Herzl to pay respects to Israel’s

founders and heroes. Continue for a panoramic tour of the Government quarters including the Supreme Court and the

Knesset (Parliament), Prime Minister’s office and the Menora.

End the day with a visit to the Shrine of the Book where you

will see the Dead Sea Scrolls and visit the mini scale model of ancient Jerusalem.

Day 9, Tuesday, June 2, 2020 - Jerusalem - At Leisure Jerusalem

Enjoy a full day at leisure.

Optional mid day walking tour of “Mishkenot Shaananim”.

On your own, visit to the Israel Museum or the Museum of the History of Jerusalem in the Old City.

Lunch at the hotel. Overnight in Jerusalem (B) Optional Half Day tour to Bethlehem available (see below).

Day 9 - OPTIONAL: Bethlehem, half day tour

Bethlehem, located 10 KM from Jerusalem is home for

the being of Christianity. Your tour will includes a visit

to the oldest churches in the world, the Church of the Nativity, the birthplace of Jesus. A huge church with a

long history of religious significance. Next you will visit

the Franciscan Grotto of the Lady Mary and learn how

the ‘Milk Grotto’ got its name. A large underground

cave with a Franciscan chapel built directly on top, this is the site where it is believed that Mary and Joseph

took Jesus for refuge from King Herod. The final visit of

this ancient city is to the Shepherd’s fields on the

outskirts of the city, believed to be the location where

the Shepherds sited the Star of Nativity before venturing to visit Jesus.

Day 10, Wednesday, June 3, 2020 - Camel rides, Qumran,

Ein Gedi, Dead Sea

Ein Gedi, Dead Sea

Depart Jerusalem on your way to the lowest place on earth,

the Dead Sea. Your first stop will be at a Bedouin tent where you will have an option to ride camels (not included) and

enjoy special Bedouin hospitality. Continue down under Sea Level to the Dead Sea. Stop for a view of Qumran, the remote caves where the Dead Sea scrolls were found. Continue to Ein

Gedi, a natural desert oasis, home to the David waterfalls and

the ibex. In Ein Gedi you will visit one of the water falls and

have the option to hike to a second one where you will be able to swim at the falls. Before departing Ein Gedi visit the Second

Century Ancient Synagogue.

Arrive at your hotel in time for late lunch (not included), check in and have free time to experience the “unsinkable” swim

and special black mud at the Dead Sea.

Day 11, Thursday, June 4, 2020 - Masada, Arava Valley,

Timna Park, Eilat

Masada, Tina Park

Start your day with a visit to Masada. Take the cable car up

and see this last stronghold of the zealots in their struggle against the Romans. Visit the excavations, Herod the Great’s

Palace, synagogue, bathhouse and storage rooms. After your tour, descend Masada and continue south along the Arava

Valley to Timna Park. Surrounded by yellow sandstone

mountains on three sides, this scenic area of global significance features ancient copper mines, the red volcanic Mt. Timna at its center, the “Sholom Pillars” and “The

Mushroom,” a sandstone rock shaped by wind and water

resembling a giant mushroom. Enjoy time to relax around the lake.

After your visit continue to the southernmost city in Israel, Eilat.

Day 12, Friday, June 5, 2020 - Eilat, Free day at leisure Eilat

Enjoy a full day at leisure.

Optional activities:

- Time at leisure at the hotel pool or the Red Sea beach. - Snorkel tours - Visit the Eilat Underwater Observatory Marine Park - Boat tours at the Red Sea

- Shopping (Eilat is a VAT free zone)

Day 12 OPTIONAL: One day tour to Petra, the Rose Red City (Jordan) from Eilat

Petra is a famous archaeological site in Jordan's

southwestern desert. Dating to around 300 B.C., it was

the capital of the Nabatean Kingdom. Accessed via a narrow canyon called Al Siq, it contains tombs and

temples carved into pink sandstone cliffs, earning its

nickname, the "Rose City." Perhaps its most famous

structure is 45m-high Al Khazneh, a temple with an

ornate, Greek-style facade known as The Treasury.

The site remained unknown to the western world until

1812, when it was discovered. UNESCO has described it

as "one of the most precious cultural properties of

man's cultural heritage.” Petra was named one of the

New 7 Wonders of the World

Day 13, Saturday, June 6, 2020 - The Ramon Crater, Negev,

Beer Sheva, Sderot, Tel Aviv

Your last day touring Israel will be a special day! Depart Eilat and drive along up along the Negev Desert and the “Moon

Valley” to the Ramon Crater to Mitzpe Ramon. In Mitzpe

Ramon you will visit the Crater’s Visitors Center. Continue to Kibbutz Sde Boker where you will pay respect to Israel’s first

prime minister, David Ben Gurion. From Ben Gurion’s grave site you will enjoy majestic views of the Tzin Desert.

Continue north past the city of Be’er Sheva to the town of Sderot. After a short visit to Sderot learning about the

region’s challenges with living under constant rocket attacks from Gaza, continue to the Ayalon Institute also known as

“the Bullet Factory”, a pre-state underground Ammunitions Factory. Stop for a short tour of the Weitzman Institute. End

the day in Tel Aviv.

Refresh and depart for a special farewell dinner at the Tel Aviv port. Overnight in Tel Aviv (B, D)
