1 AVS™ PADDED YOKE
INTRODUCTIONThe AVS™ Padded Yoke is a low profile, lightweight component
that allows the user to attach a variety of AVS™ components.
Multiple attachment points on the front and back allows for many
configurations. Our AVS™ Padded Yoke allows you to turn the
AVS™ Chest Rig into a standalone chest rig. The yoke can also be
used in conjunction with any of our AVS™ plate bags to form a
modular vest with a padded neck and shoulder area. It can also be
used as a comfortable load-bearing means of adding support for
any of our belts. Made in the US from US materials.

OPERATOR INSTRUCTIONS
5 AVS™ PADDED YOKE
ATTACHING YOKE TO BELTThe Padded Yoke can be used with the straps provided to connect to a belt.
Fold the end of the 2” hook and loop in half and route it up under the webbing on the shoulder as pictured above.
Lay the hook and loop portion flat on top of the shoulder pad in
the desired position and repeat for the other side.
Route the rear strap up through the metal loop under fabric flap.

Route the front suspender tips
up under the rear cover.
Continue routing the front of
the suspenders under the top
shoulder cover and under the
webbing on the front.

ATTACHING AVS™ PLATEBAGSTo attach the AVS™ Platebags to the Padded Yoke, complete the following:

Route the buckle strap (from AVS™ harness) through the desired side of the yoke.
Route the front platebag strap through the opposite side of the Padded Yoke.

11 AVS™ PADDED YOKE
Attach the field replaceable side release
buckle to desired location on the back of
the plate back.
Utilizing the front suspender straps, route
the strap through the male portion of the
buckle and connect to it to the female
buckle. The remaining strap can be
contained with the 3 bar slide.
Attach the rear platebag to the back of the
yoke by routing the straps on each side
through the metal loop and then back onto
the platebag attachment surface.

ATTACHING AVS™ DETACHABLE CHEST RIGTo attach the AVS™ Detachable Chest Rig to the Padded Yoke, perform the following:
Fold the end of the chest rig strap in half
and route it up under the Padded Yoke
webbing to the desired position.
Lay the chest rig strap flat and repeat for
opposite side.

Connect the sides of the chest rig with the
elastic strap provided.
Connect the Padded Yoke back strap to
the top-rear right and left corners of the
chest rig.

BODY ARMORIt is against Federal Law for a person
convicted of a violent felony to purchase
or possess body armor. In addition,
various states also have laws restricting
the purchase or possession of body
armor by persons convicted of certain
felonies, other crimes of violence, or drug
crimes. By purchasing body armor, you
acknowledge and certify that (i) you have
no felony convictions, (ii) you have not
been convicted of any other crime that
would restrict your ability to purchase or
possess body armor under any Federal or
State law, (iii) you do not intend to use
the body armor for any criminal purpose
and (iv) you are over 18 years old. Crye
Precision reserves the right, in its sole
discretion, to refuse to sell body armor
to any person. Additionally, the sale of
body armor to residents of Connecticut is
restricted to in-person sales, unless the
sale is made to certain law enforcement
or military personnel. We require that all
orders of body armor be accompanied by
a government issued photo identification.
