extra protection against scuff s and marks from things like

shoes, buggies and pets. The special polyurethane layer of

Superguard also makes maintenance easier.

Natural Look & Feel brings an authentic look to your Avenue

cushion fl oor. Whether wood, stone or mineral, Natural Look

and Feel features an embossed surface that adds depth and

texture to your fl oor.

Added Slip Resistance gives your Avenue cushion fl oor

Caring for your fl oorKeeping your fl oor in good condition is vital to ensuring it brings you years of use.

Fortunately, cushion fl ooring from Avenue is really easy to look after.

Useful Information.

Appropriate maintenance procedures will help preserve

the appearance and extend the life of your new Avenue

fl oor. The frequency of maintenance will depend on the

amount and type of traffi c, degree of soiling and the fl oor

colour and type.

Some Avenue fl oors have a Superguard PU lacquer

on top of the resistant wear layer. This protects against

soiling and makes the maintenance of your new fl oor

easier. Superguard also makes the application of a prior

to use treatment with a protection polish unnecessary.

For Avenue fl oors without Superguard PU lacquer, a gloss

starter coating can be applied for extra protection of the

surface. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions when

applying the gloss starter coating.

Cleaning may be implemented 72 hours after installation.

Try to prevent the fl oor coming into contact with water

during this time, as the adhesive may not be dry.

External ConditionsThe management of external conditions can help to

protect your new Avenue fl oor, which saves time and

expense on cleaning and maintenance and can extend

its lifespan. Most soiling comes from an external source

and is transported indoors by foot and wheeled traffi c. If

dirt lodges under moving furniture, the fl oor will not only

be soiled, but will also suff er light damage in the form of

scratches.

MatsA proper mat to clean off dirt is strongly recommended.

It will reduce soiling of the fl ooring by as much as 70%.

Entrance mats, when properly looked after, can eff ectively

remove any abrasive and foreign materials and cut down

on tracked-in water.

Avenue recommends a minimum of two full strides of mat

and regular cleaning is imperative in ensuring its effi ciency.

Prevent fi bres of the mat from running or adhering together

with dirt and replace the mat in time to ensure it continues

to serve its function. Rubber and latex backed mats should

be avoided as these may stain your Avenue fl oor.

liquid may leave hard-to-remove fi lm or residue on the surface, which

detract from the appearance of your fl oor and that can leave a slippery

covering that’s hard to shift. That’s why we’ve developed the Xtrafl oor

cleaning range, bringing cleaning performance in cleaners completely safe

for use on your new Avenue fl oor.
