• This music video is based on the movie Fear and loathing in Las Vegas. Both the movie and the video start with this quote by DR. Johnson.

• The video and the film are both good examples of “speed, power ,girls and wealth” as they both involve fast cars, gambling, and half naked girls.

• The video has some literal translations such as when the lyrics talk about making a beast out of your self and they display the image above.

• The video also has a performance aspect to it which is still in keeping to the rest of the video because the scenes are taking place in a Las Vegas hotel room.

The video is dark and gothic and the imagery is distort as if it was dreamed or hallucinated. The are lots of references to the movie fear and loathing in Las Vegas.This image has a performance aspect but is still in keeping to the style of the film. There are other hidden references to the film such as the sign that’s says SYN. The Artist that is in the shot is known as Synister gates and another name for Las Vegas is Sin City.

This video is a good example of “image and style scavengers” due to the tone and look of the video being borrowed from the film.
