AMIR OTAIFAUX/UI DESIGNER & MOTION GRAPHICS

”Great achievements emerge from great ideas. 

From my experience, ideas are extremely 

fragile. Ideas are unpredictable in terms of 

when you will have them and how many you 

are going to have.  

 

Over the last couples of years, I have been 

surrounding myself with people and an 

environment that inspires and nurtures great 

ideas. Therefore, when the opportunity to move 

to San Francisco as a part of the Bergh’s 

Bachelor program presented itself,  

I didn’t hesitate.    

 

The passion for greatness is not limited to my 

professional life only. It is a characteristic that 

defines all aspects of my life. I believe as a wise 

man once said: “Who you are tomorrow, 

begins with what you do today”. Therefore I 

make sure that each step and action I engage in 

life is a part of my goal to greatness. 

2017 ‑ present Freelancer / AO 

While studying at Berghs, I had the opportunity to 

freelance for them, creating motion graphics for 

their clients. Thats when I started my  

freelance business. 

2018 ‑ present Academy Of Art University

2017 ‑ 2018 Graphic designer / Benify 

At Benify I worked within product marketing. My 

main tasks were to design marketing materials for 

the customers. I worked with both print and  

digital design. 

2015 ‑ 2017 Kitchen designer, planner / IKEA 

As a kitchen designer at IKEA, I helped the 

costumers to design their ideal kitchen. My focus 

was to offer them the best customer service. 

2014 ‑ 2017 Regional manager / Ung Omsorg 

As a Regional manager at Ung Omsorg, I was 

responsible for the entire operation within my  

region. Among my duties was to act as a support 

for my 5 team leaders.
