DESCRIPTION
As faithful citizens and women religious, guided by the Gospel commands to love our neighbors, protect the most vulnerable and hold the powerful accountable, we are called to defend the sanctity of human life, the unborn, the homeless, the inmate on death row, the immigrant, the environment and our neighbor suffering from hunger. Our Franciscan charism and Congregational Mission and Directional Statement reminds us we are women seeking justice and working for peace among the poor and marginalized. This next presidential election will place before us many issues that touch the poor and marginalized. We need to examine carefully the policies that uphold or deny basic human rights of all citizens.TRANSCRIPT
