Automobile
What is Auto Mobile The AutoMobile has been specifically designed as a mobile unit
tomonitor performance across a country’s road network.
It is a ‘plug and play’ device which requires no user input. The AutoMobile is a cost-effective method that delivers
continuous real insight into the street level coverage provided by your network.
The AutoMobile transforms a smartphone device into a mobilenetwork measurement tool which continuously measuresperformance by conducting various network related tests atpredefined intervals.
Who is for itThe AutoMobile is aimed at staff whose function it is to oversee andmaintain Network Quality.
Network Quality teams Drive Test Engineers Radio Access Network (RAN) Performance Engineers Network Planning teams are able to drill down into the
AutoMobile results to locate areas of poor network performance and to analyze any problem areas for a single customer or the entire network
Who is for itThe AutoMobile can be used by network operators for a range of different reasons. The device continuously measures network performance which allows the network operator to: Help pinpoint network configuration issues, such as crossed sectors and
sleeping cells Record and ensure that all major routes have excellent 2G/3G/4G service Provide reports of issues along routes as they are driven Create a detailed coverage map so as to ascertain high importance areas
with low coverage Understand where there are significant deltas against your predictions
Benchmark network data speeds across the country to ensure customers are receiving the quality of service they expect
Deliver premium VIP service monitoring and fault resolution by deploying an AutoMobile device into the customer’s vehicle.
Key Advantage Simply plug in and start measuring real Quality of Service:
hassle free way of understanding network performance Wide scale collection of network performance data throughout
the year Remote management of test scripts online for full flexibility
and scenario investigation Reduction in drive test costs as there is no need for costly
expensive equipment or specialized labour Easy to interpret instant results via a web-based interface.

Beacon
What is Beacon Beacon is the product name given to Metricell’s network
performance monitoring tool. The Beacon is a networkmonitoring device which continuously conducts various networkrelated Voice, Data and Service tests at predefined intervals toensure network Quality of Service (QoS) is maintained 24 hoursa day, 7 days a week.
The Beacon can be placed in corporate offices, retail stores, andshopping malls etc to ensure you are continually deliveringexcellent service. It will conduct various tests at pre-definedintervals, which can all be customized by the user through aremote management interface.
This technology is highly cost efficient and scalable. Theplatform can support thousands of units reportingsimultaneously and activate alarms when service thresholds fallbelow acceptable levels.
Who is for it Network Quality Service Management Corporate Account Management Service Quality Management
UsesThe Beacon can be used by mobile operators for a range of different reasons. A Beacon is constantly reporting performance KPIs which allows the mobile operator to:
Provide 24/7 customer service monitoring where it matters to ensure excellent service for your customers.
A web based easy-to-use GUI interface allows personnel to monitor and instantly identify affected areas/customers
Report on network service levels at key locations Set alarms for when service falls below certain levels Automatically alert specified personnel via email, SMS or other
methods when alarms are raised
UsesDeployed Beacons are identified and displayed on a map along with their status (updated in real time). This lets operators quickly identify which Beacons are breaking the Voice, Data and Service thresholds and by analysing the Beacon results, an operator can answer key questions about the quality of experience at key locations:
What Call Success Rate are customers receiving at this location? Are the performance thresholds being met? How many successful calls did the Beacon make? What upload and download speeds is the corporate customer experiencing? Which technologies are being used and what is the received signal strength? Does the Beacon location have reliable consistent service? Is the Beacon connecting to the same serving cell? What’s the average signal strength for each cell?
Key Advantage Deliver premium service Key Customers Key differentiator when attracting new Corporate Customers 24-7 network QoS monitor across the country Rapid response to real service issues Monitor Managed Service Providers by ensuring they are
meeting their SLAs Reduce technicians call outs to understand service issues
