AUTOMATIC MOUSE TRAPPER

ABSTRACT Rats are big problem in house hold as well as for industries in all over India.

These small creature bite clothes, cut electric wires in industries, they destroy a lot

of grain and even bring many diseases and infections with them.

To tackle them we use traditional trapper and various rat kill poisons. But there

are many problem associated with these methods like rat may die after eating

poisonous substances and may not be found till a stinky smell develops in that

area. And in traditional trappers have the capacity to trap a single mouse.

Our project i.e. the Automatic rat trapper is a perfect solution for all these

troubles

This project is application of microcontroller . In this project we use microcontroller

8051 , IR sensor and comparator .

When the beam of the main gate sensor is interrupted, the main door will be

closed. When the beam of any of the gates inside is interrupted, the gate closes

immediately and the main gate opens again providing the advantage to trap more

mice.

Easy to maintain.

Can trap 6 mouse at a time.

Environment friendly.

The system can be made wireless with connectivity with mobile

phones/ computer systems

Arrangement can be made to reduce the power consumption through

on/ off mode of working

LIMITATIONS

It uses a good space to be placed in home

Uses continuous power supply.

It is designed by considering a fixed size of mouse

Cleaning of cabins is not a easy task

Our design is the preliminary design which can have a lot

of improvements
