Introduction of Company

History of Company Autolite was established in Jaipur in the

1970’s and originally manufactured Pier Lights.

Its lighting business in India started in 1999 and acquired its current name in 2003.

Autolite Later was known as ‘Gerard Lighting’ by the founder of the company Mr. Mahipal Gupta.

Autolite is inspired by the SUN and the MOON, two dominant sources of light control.

Light is electromagnetic radiation that is visible to the human eye.

The SUN is the Earth’s primary source of light.

Lighting or illumination is the deliberate use of light to achieve a practical or aesthetic effect.

A halogen lamp is a type of incandescent lamp. The conventional incandescent lamp contains a tungsten filament sealed within a glass envelope that is filled with an inert gas or a mixture of these gases (typically bromine and iodine).

When electrical power is applied to the filament, it becomes hot enough (generally over 4500°F to become incan-descent; in other words, the filament glows and emits light.

During operation, the tungsten evaporating from the hot filament condenses on the cooler inside bulb wall, causing the bulb to blacken. This blackening process continuously reduces the light out-put over the life of the lamp.

Sleeving sectionThe tungsten wire filament is very brutal in nature .

It is not to tensile that can hold with the mount soldering.

Both side of the filament is soldered with the moly wire.

It provides the strength to filament for stay last long with the mount at high temp & pressure.

It is done by automatic soldering machine.

Autolite (India) Limited company our training area was production of Halogen Lamp. It is a company of Halogen lamp, LED lamp etc. Production of halogen lamp completed in several phases. All production area based on automation technique. It has following Departments.There are four departments which are as follows:

Pre-processing Department

In this department basically filament is mounted on quartz envelope and it would melt if it were made of glass. The filament has 8.5 turns.

TRAINING AREA

Production Department

In this department the electricity heats the filament. Electricity heats the filament up to about 4500 degrees F. This process is called as incandescence.

Cleaning department

Here the entire unwanted thing has been removed.

Packaging Department

Eventually a thin spot on filament causes the filament to break and the bulb burns out.
