1. Auto Planner (Central Advisor Planning)

Advisor 7.0 introduces for the first time a new and revolutionary planning concept

that is set to change the way diamonds are planned!

The new planning method enables the user to define advanced programs based on

a large variety of shapes, proportions, cut grades, institutes, allocation types and

clarities. The programs can then be set to run in the background 24/7, immediately

after Galaxy scanning, providing hundreds or thousands of solutions even before the

stone reaches the planners.

With such a large amount of solutions available so early at the manufacturing stage,

the supervisors, together with the sales team, can filter and sort the solutions

according to market demand, and alter the manufacturing priorities to reduce time

to market.

2. Customized Pricing

Until now, Advisor pricing has supported just a few basic

pricing properties, such as color, clarity, cut grade and shape. Today, each customer

usually has up to 20 or even 30 properties that affect the price of

the polished diamond.

Advisor 7.0 offers a revolutionary concept that enables full

communication between the customer pricing calculator

application and the Advisor software, in order to get an

accurate price calculation for each polished diamond.

Working with Single application – A new pricing interface enables

the user to work with the most updated manufacturing price list, directly in Advisor.

This new feature not only saves time, it reduces human error and makes the pricing

process so much more efficient and effective.

3. Stone Manager

The new Stone Manager feature is a fully customizable and advanced tool that

enables the user to easily manage and explore the stones database.

The Stone Manager includes the following options:

Search engine – the user can now search by typing any text, allowing for

instant location of the specific stone.

Table customization – the user can define which information to display in the

stones table.

Package summary customization – advanced option for Nano/Atom

customers enables the user to define which information to display in the

package summary.

Package summary label – from now, the user can customize the summary label

and define the relevant information that fits their needs.



Video\3D model rotation – the user can rotate the 3D model and the video

also in this dialog to better explore the stone.

Filter customization – the user can define which filter criteria to display.

Edit stone info – enables the user to edit the stone name, comments or any

other relevant information, even without opening the file.

4. Tension Mapping

A new add-on for DiaExpert systems enables scanning of the rough

diamond that provides an accurate video display of

internal stress early in the planning stage, helping the user

to make better planning decisions even before the

stone reaches the laser department.

This new ability increases productivity and minimizes

the manufacturing cycle, as it removes the need for

"back and forth" communications between the

planning and laser departments, due to the risks of sawing

the planned polished.

5. Fine Tune - Improve Light Performance

Light performance is one of the most important planning decisions that affects the

tradability and value of a diamond. Advisor 7.0 offers a dual viewer that enables the

user to view the planned stone with any one of the new polished simulations (H&A,

Photo Real and Sarine Light™) in order to see online how each facet modification

affects the light performance. This enables planning of the best diamond in terms of

clarity and light performance.



6. Photo Realistic Simulation

High accuracy 3D simulation of the polished

diamond, including inclusions, reflections and fire

display, enable the user to better judge the stone

clarity and light performance early in the planning

stage.

With Advisor 7.0, the user can generate photo realistic

simulations for all types of shapes, with a customized

light environment to explore all planned solutions and

view how the final polished stone will look, thus ensuring the right planning dissections

are taken.



7. H&A Simulation with Inclusions

8. Sarine Light™ Simulation

Today, light performance has become a

critical factor in diamond trading.

Advisor 7.0 provides highly accurate

simulations of Sarine Light™ performance

early in the planning stage, to enable the user

to choose the best light performance during

the planning process, helping to increase the

value of the diamond.

9. Avoid Open Inclusions

Increase the value of the diamond by preventing open

inclusions in the final polished result.

Open inclusions on the polished stone can dramatically reduce the value of a

diamond. A new and advanced algorithm enables Advisor to plan the best diamond

without open inclusions, to maximize profit.



10. Don’t Mark Critical Areas in Saw Planes

Increase the safety of the diamonds by preventing laser marking damage with the

new auto safety distance for saw planes marking.

In Advisor 7.0, the user can predefine the distance of marking areas close to the

polished that won’t be marked, to prevent cases in which the laser beam penetrates

into the final polished diamond.

11. Parallel Windows Movement

Creating parallel windows on the right location

has always been a complicated task.

With Advisor 7.0, the user can easily create

parallel windows, move them while

maintaining their parallelism, and view a

halo of their common surface.

12. Sawless Program

The popular Sawless allocation is now available also in the programs templates to

enable automatic planning of numerous solutions with a single click.

With this new planning option, the user can create any template containing different

shapes, institutes and cut grades to be run online or even offline. This gives the

planner access to a large variety of planning options that couldn’t be achieved

manually, saving significant planning time and increasing the planner's productivity.



13. Multi-plan Sawless & Best Remainder

The Multi-plan option that enables display dozens of solutions in a single click now

includes the most two popular planning options: Best Remainder and Sawless

allocations!

14. Customized Toolbar

With so many great

planning options in

Advisor, they

should always be

instantly available for the planner.

The new Customized Toolbar in Advisor 7.0 enables the user to double the number of

buttons displayed on the screen via a new Overflow Menu option, define the

location of each button, and design a Favorite section with the most frequently used

buttons, to improve the user experience and accelerate the planning process.



15. Common Saw Plane

Increase diamond yield and improve ease of use with the new Common Plane

feature.

The “Stone Opening” tool enables display of several possible

planning solutions, one on top of the other, and definition of

a blocking procedure process that will maintain the

freedom of choice between all available options.

Up until now, the blocking process in Advisor was

carried out manually, and the user had to place and

drag the saw planes to a position that would

maintain all planning options.

Advisor 7.0 offers the capability to add saw planes

automatically in a position that will maintain all planning options and leave the

biggest remainder for the second planning part, not only saving the planner time but

also increasing the diamond yield to maximize profits!

The planner is better able to judge the solution and make the right decision early in

the planning stage.

16. Best Reminder/ Sawless Planning on Multiple Results

Increase the yield of your rough stone with a new,

smart planning algorithm.

The “Stone Opening” tool enables display of several

possible planning solutions, layered one on top of

the other. This blocks all selected polish options,

postponing the final planning solution until all

uncertainties are resolved.

With Advisor 7.0 you can now perform Best Reminder

and Sawless planning to find the next biggest polish,

while maintaining all selected results to extract the

best planning solution from your rough stone.



17. New Label View

Improve communication between the planners and polished departments with the

new label image!

Up until now, Advisor enabled display of an image that includes rough, polished and

all inclusions that exist in the rough stone.

In Advisor 7.0, the user can design a new label that displays the rough stone with the

polished and the inclusions that exist only on the polished diamond, thus enabling

the polisher to easily understand the clarity of the stone in order to achieve the

planned solution.

18. Master Save

Perform multiple actions in a single click!

Saving the final planned solution always entails additional actions, such as printing

labels, printing reports, exporting data to Excel or to Rough Viewer, and more. With

the new Master Save option, the user can predefine a list of sequences and perform

several operations in a single click, thereby increasing productivity and reducing

human errors.

19. Interactive Mode – Multiple Polishes Properties Display

Planning multiple polishes in a single rough has always been a challenge. Up until

now, the interactive mode option with multiple polishes enabled the user to see the

yield and polished weight of maximum 2 polishes. With Advisor 7.0, the user can view

online the weight modifications of all polishes while dragging their planes to better

control all planning solutions.



20. Rough Contour

Increase your planning confidence with the new “rough contour” indication.

This new capability enables the user to display the stone's rough contour on the

Galaxy video to help the planner verify that there is no mismatch between the 3D

model and the Galaxy video.

21. Snapshot

Simple and powerful screen capture tool enables the user to take

snapshots of any item in the application, in order to share planning

results, document information, and improve the communication in the

factory.

22. Shape Name Display

Advisor 7.0 includes more than 50 fancy shapes. This large variety might

be confusing and could lead to human error. In order to

ensure the planner is using the desired shape, an option

has been added to display the shape name in the

planning display.

23. New User Shapes

A variety of new fancy shapes were added to Advisor 7.0 in order to support a larger

range of faceting styles and modified shapes.
