You’relooking for performance improvements, not headaches.Once Auto LUN starts moving volumes, the copyoperation copies the entire contents of the source volumeto the target volume cylinder-by-cylinder. If anyone writesto the source volume during the copy operation, AutoLUN will keep track of the updates on a special mapof the source volume and transfer the new information afterthe original copy is complete. When the volumes are fullysynchronized, Auto LUN completes the process byredirecting host access to the target volume.
