Taking some time to calculate the catchment area, rainfall rates and proposed usage such as stock watering, irrigation, firefighting and household supply can mean the important decision on tank size and tank configuration can be made based on an overall plan.

Clever dropHouses just seem to be getting bigger and average gardens are often reduced to courtyard size areas. This trend has prompted the owners at Wobble-Tee to design a small area sprinkler that is also water efficient, has enough flexibility so it can be easily adapted to add extra sprinklers to create a sequence of up to eight, all watering simultaneously.

Aptly named the Clever Drop, each sprinkler is supplied with four pressure regulating discs that can be installed by hand, no tools required, to reduce the diameter of each sprinkler. This allows the homeowner to regulate each sprinkler to the best size diameter for the area it is watering without reducing the flow through the hose to the additional sprinklers along the line.

Linhai have officially released their first quads manufactured with crush protection devices (CPDs) as OEM from the Linhai factory.

After 12 months of research and development (R&D) Linhai is proud to distribute the LH400-4x4 and LH500-4x4 model quads into Australia and New Zealand knowing they are the first major manufacturer to step up and release a safer quad onto the global market.

The CPD is manufactured in Australia by QB Industries which is one of the only Australian companies in the world that’s has around 10 years of R&D behind quad safety. They have developed the Quadbar, that’s been extensively tested for rollover events.

The Linhai range was displayed at the 2015 FarmFest Field Days in Toowoomba with the CPD as part of the standard vehicle. The response was overwhelming with an eight-year record on quad sales sold during the three-day show and a week later another huge follow up call for the quads with after-show sales.

manufacturers spent hours on the Linhai site going over the quads, taking pictures from every angle, which we guess was to send to their suppliers with detailed reports on what Linhai have developed.

The Aervator is a multifunctional farm implement that relieves compaction, aerates, cultivates and renovates all growing conditions. It increases water and air penetration, promoting soil bacteria and root growth.

Combining the Aervator with a seeder maximises the benefits of aeration by directly impacting the plant/weed succession of your pasture. By aerating, seeding and harrowing in the one pass, you achieve all of the benefits of aeration, plus oversow your chosen pasture crop into ideal conditions for it to out-compete weed species. The trailing harrows act to maximise soil to seed contact to facilitate high percentages of seed fertilisation.

The application for the aeration/seeding system extends primarily to pasture, but can also be utilised in broadacre and horticultural crops, orchards, vineyards, turf grass, sports fields and golf courses.
