The Experience of a Lifetime Travel in Australia’s outback is enormously rewarding,

but the isolation and huge distances that make it unique can often be unforgiving for

individual travellers. Outback Discovery has planned each itinerary meticulously so

that journeying to remote areas is easy. Our holidays also represent great value for

money. You won’t need to worry about a thing, and you will return home having seen

and experienced more than you could ever achieve on your own.

Small Group Touring Our All Terrain 4WD smaller coaches have been specially

designed to carry up to only 30 guests. You will feel like you’re part of a family, not

on a group tour. At every step of the way, you will enjoy the more intimate experience

and added attention from your crew. Even better, our smaller coaches can access

places that larger coaches can’t.

Taking Care of Everything Outback Discovery guarantees that an experienced team

of a Driver and a Tour Manager will accompany you all the way on every tour. Every

Outback Discovery holiday is fully inclusive so that you get to visit all of the ‘must-

see’ sights and important attractions, rather than just driving past. We have included

all breakfasts, lunches and dinners, so you don’t have to continually dip into your own

pocket. On most days, we also include morning and afternoon tea. And you’ll stay in

a wonderful range of accommodation types, each chosen to suit the region you’re in.

Unique Experiences When you travel with Outback Discovery you’ll find that every day

is filled with sights and experiences that can’t be found anywhere else in the world. And

it’s not only the places that are unique, you’ll meet lots of people whose lifestyle has

turned them into true Australian characters. Their laconic way with words hides a

genuine welcome and often hilarious tales of outback living.

You’ll be won over by the owner of Mount Hart Wilderness Lodge and his passion for the

history of the settlement and exploration of this remote corner of Western Australia.

Take a walk into stunning Cathedral Gorge amid the beehive domes of the Bungle Bungle

range. Journey along the Tanami Road to peer over the rim of Wolfe Creek Crater. Learn

about Broome’s pearling past and tour a working pearl farm. High points of the NorthernTerritory are all about waterways – an awe-inspiring cruise on Katherine Gorge, spotting

crocodiles at Yellow Water and millions of birds in Kakadu’s wetlands.

Queensland’s Daintree Discovery Centre is a brilliant introduction to this World Heritage

area. Travel north to stand at the tip of Cape York. Swim in the refreshing pool beneath

Fruit Bat Falls. Take in gorgeous tropical views from the ferry to Thursday Island where

you’ll discover Torres Strait culture and WWII history. Australia’s southern states abound

with diverse wilderness experiences including the outback ghost town of Silverton, the

seals and sea lions of Kangaroo Island, a 4WD adventure in the rugged Flinders Ranges

and a guided walk around Dove Lake beneath Tasmania’s Cradle Mountain.
