A Zona de Asteroides
Entre os planetas Marte e Júpiter, encontram-se a
maioria dos asteroides de nosso Sistema Solar.
São pequenos corpos rochosos que orbitam o Sol,
geralmente agrupados. Os Asteroides representam
perigo iminente de colisão com os corpos maiores,
como satélites naturais e planetas, por serem
atraídos gravitacionalmente com facilidade por
possuírem pequenas massas.
