Pastor's Corner:

Greetings to you and yours! I hope this

month's newsletter finds you and yours

doing well. I have several thoughts to

share with you, so here goes...

I wish Joe Delph and family nothing but God's very

best as they enter this next chapter of their lives.

While they will be missed around here at First

Baptist, I am sure there is a bright future of good

things for them in Kentucky. Let us lift them up in

prayer as they enter this period of transition.

We will begin the search for our next youth pastor

immediately. The Personnel Committee and I will

work closely together to find God's person to work

with our young people. In the meantime, we as a

church will unite our efforts and keep this youth

ministry going.

On another note, I want to express my gratitude to

Nuno Norberto for his ministry here at First Baptist.

Week in and week out, Nuno is leading us in

wonderful, blended worship services. I have

appreciated how he blends together new choruses

and old hymns on Sunday mornings. His ministry

has been a breath of fresh air for us, and I am

excited about continuing to work with him. Please

continue to pray for God's richest blessings on

Nuno's family and ministry.

Finally, I want to welcome Dixie Lynn Kreulen

aboard as our new Preschool Director. I have

enjoyed getting to know her the past couple of

years. She grew up in this church, and understands

exactly what we need from our director. This week

I was told that our teachers are very excited about

working with Dixie Lynn. Please ask God to grant

her daily guidance as she begins leading our

preschool staff.

Joe, Nuno, and Dixie Lynn are three fine people.

They love Jesus, their families, and the church.

May God continue to work in and through each of

them as they serve Him.

MINISTER OF MUSIC and hymns that touched our hearts in a special way, challenged us to give our all to glorify the Father, and caused us to be truly thankful for the sacrifice of Jesus. Our time learning and meditating on the Word of God with pastor Ben was also amazing. God really used him to challenge us to not fear men but to fear God, to invest in others (especially young people who feel called to the ministry), and to be joyous in the Lord. I pray that God makes me a better student of His Word every day, and as a result a better family man and encouraging co-worker to the people here at FB Sebring.

May God Bless You, Nuno

MINISTER OF STUDENTS

I would like to take this time to thank everyone for your support while I

was the director for the preschool! It was a pleasure stepping in and helping

out and we are very excited about welcoming Dixie Lynn Kreulen as our

new director! Please continue to pray for us as we are getting ready for our

Open House and the start of a wonderful year.

God Bless,

Alison

PRESCHOOL DIRECTOR

Dear Church Family,

As most of you know, this July is my final month of service here at FBC. Over the past 5 years, my family and I have thoroughly enjoyed work-ing with you. The Lord has blessed both our family and the Student Ministry here. The deci-sion to leave was extremely difficult due to the relationships we have built with those in the church. We will miss you all greatly, and we count it a great privilege and honor to have served in the Lord’s ministry here with you all.

Please pray for us as a family in our new endeavor as we follow the Lord’s call. We will be serving at Porter Memorial Baptist Church in Lexington, KY. There we will work with Youth and College students. This task is daunting to say the least given the direction and vision

Hello church family. During the third week of July I had the privilege of taking 6 friends from our worship ministry to Ridgecrest, NC to participate in the LifeWay Worship Week Conference. We had an amazing time of fellowship with other believers, worship, and learning. God really spoke to me in particular about several areas of my ministry, not only as a musician, but as a co-worker and fellow worshiper.

Ben Mandrell and Travis Cottrell were the pastor and worship leader for the week. They are from Englewood Baptist Church in Jackson, TN. The time we had singing great hymns of our faith was just as worshipful as the time we spent learning some new songs. We sang songs

of the church. It is truly a God-sized task. Your continued support and prayer will be greatly appreciated.

Finally, please do not forget our current youth. They are a very special bunch that mean a great deal to me personally. God is raising up a great generation, and I know you will watch over them, teach them, and lead them in the Lord’s ministry. They are ready to take on more responsibility within the church in leadership and service. Our prayers will continue for you and the group. God has a plan for them as well. Thank you again for all your support and prayer over the years. We will be back to visit with you in the coming year, and we will always be only a phone call, text message, or social media message away.

God bless you all, Joe Delph
