Hello Wiingers! It’s hard to believe f=but summer is almost at it’s end and because of COVID 19 we have had very few rides and dinners! I wish I could turn back the clock. What I have noticed is the distinct lack of participation now that we can ride and socialize again. Of course we have to be careful and take precautions but it is possible to do these things with our masks and sanitizer and social distancing! Several of our chapter members attended Mt District Rally in Deer Lodge! What a great time we had. I in particular had a

great time on the scavenger hunt. I visited all the stores but one, which I couldn't find un-til Saturday morning, and then it was closed. I also visited many stores that weren’t on the hunt but I was on the hunt for treasures and treasures I found! More than I needed or could carry home on my Spyder, so graciously Dale and Donna offered to transport them home for me! Thanks Dale and Donna! You’re the best! They also transported Chuck and Betty’s tire with wheel and drum attached. I think that warrants the fish! What do you'll say? Fish! Fish! Fish! Now some of you may not have heard why we were on our Bikes instead of in our 5th wheel but that’s a story for the Gathering as well as Chuck & Betty’s story as we don’t have enough time for our adventurous story and Bonnett’s story needs to be told by them!

A Note From Your Assistant Director Carol Scovill

Hello!! Wow, where has the time gone?!?! Now heading into August of new normal lifestyles, it seems weird to me that it is August. I do miss everyone and am thankful for those who have still made me feel part of the MT-B chapter even though I cannot attend anything. This is one virus I don’t want even in a mild form – mostly due to the long term heart and brain damage they are finding (my brain is already on a rough front – no sense in having more happen to it). So, you will see me donned in a mask when I am in public and keeping my distance from folks. Every day I work is stressful since I have no idea if someone is infected since they spread it without symptoms for 10 days. We do our best to clean diligently, wear masks/shields, wash our hands and mostly try not to touch the face. The last one is the hardest one, since my glasses tend to fall down a bit and I am so used to pushing them up. I now know multiple folks who have been infected and their sto-ries are not that great even with mild cases. I just hope all of you are doing your best to keep safe out there – this too will pass like all the other diseases through history, but it does require patience. I went for a ride today – I took the day off for a mental break. Funny thing after I passed the 3rd cop (saw 11 today), I realized I forgot to put my current insurance card in my bike. Whoops. Then I had had a crown put on last Thursday and have TMJ so thought my jaw was recovered, and quickly found out my new modular helmet flared that up. After those 2 things, I realized I was low on gas so cut the ride short. Still glad for what wind therapy I got. Hoping my jaw heals up more so I can ride more. I hope to see you all again in person in the future!! Until then, know that I do miss each and every one of you and pray for your safety and health. Please stay safe and healthy out there!!
