How to support St. Tim’s at this time Many people have asked how they can continue to support St. Timothy’s, and the work we are continuing to do, even though we are not all gathering to celebrate the Mass together. The best way is to set up an online donation. Please visit this page on our website to get started and to learn more about the other ways you can support us: http://bit.ly/supportSTT. You can also mail your envelope/check in to the office at the address on the back cover of this bulletin.

We appreciate your generosity very much!

WE WISH TO THANK ALL OF THOSE WHO DONATED TO OUR SILENT AUCTION

The community of St. Tim’s has once again come together to do everything possible to make this year’s carnival a success—despite some really unique challenges! We sincerely appreciate your participation and support so far, and as we move into carnival week, which of course, looks much different this year. Without our big tents, food booths, beer tent, and live music to bring in people, we need your help to get the word out about our online auction—tell your neighbors to check it out, share our Facebook posts so your friends can join in, and call your family to encourage them to take part.

As always—together we are a strong community that can take on any challenge and exceed expectations. Thank you for being a member of St. Tim’s—we are grateful for all of you!

This year's silent auction is a bonanza for golfers or the golfers in your life! We have many wonderful courses that have donated golf packages or passes – some of the courses are

nearby, others are a bit further, others are resort courses. Take advantage of the generosity of our donors and experience some new turf, what a wonderful way to spend the day!

St. Tim’s Carnival

This year’s silent auction is online! You can bid from your home computer or from your iPad or phone.

Here’s how to get your bidder number and start bidding in three easy steps!

1. Go to the St Timothy website: www.churchofsttimothy.com 2. Click on the first box, labeled “Silent Auction.” This will take you directly to the auction website. 3. Create an account: This option will show up in a "box" immediately OR you will have to click on "View

All Items" and the "Create an Account" box will show up then. No financial information is needed to create an account or to bid; payment is due at pick-up. You will then get an email to finish the set up.

That’s it—you are now ready to browse and bid! If you have any trouble creating an account, please call the parish office at 763.784.1329 and someone will be happy to help you.

• You are now ready to browse all of the great items we have available. To view the details of an item, click

on the picture. A full description of the item is displayed below the picture. Also displayed is the required minimum initial bid and the required minimum incremental bid, if the initial bid has already been made.

• If you like the item, and wish to follow and keep track of it, click the heart button in the upper left hand corner, which will add the item to your watch list.

• Ready to bid? Simply view an item, enter your bid amount, and click the "Place My Bid" button. If a bid has already been made, it will show you what the current bid is and what the minimum would be to bid over it. It also shows how many times the item has been bid on.

• Outbid? You will receive an email notification with a link to the item so that you can place a new bid • You will be notified with your results when the auction ends. • You will be getting email or text message throughout the six bidding days whenever something has

changed about an item you are bidding on. This allows you to take timely action on the item, so you don’t miss out!

Keep selling those raffle tickets! Thank you to everyone who has already turned in their tickets. And to those of you who have stopped in to pick up even more tickets to sell, we are especially grateful for your efforts this year! As you know, the raffle is the biggest fund-raiser we have each year and it supports our operating budget so we can continue to minister to all those who come to St. Tim’s for faith formation, pastoral care, community, spiritual support and growth. The winning tickets will be drawn on the afternoon of September 13—will you be the $10,000 winner?

Aluminum can drive is part of the carnival too! We are still having our annual aluminum can drive this year so save up those cans and bring them to the receptacle in the parking lot before September 13!

Carnival coloring contest We are still holding the coloring contest as part of our carnival celebration this year. We will have four divisions— ages 2 through 5, ages 6 through 9, ages 10 through 12, and ages 13 and older. If you or your family wish to participate in the contest, please visit the carnival page on our website to download the coloring sheets, or you can pick them up at the parish office. All completed entries need to be into the parish office by September 8, and winners will be chosen based on neatness and creativity. This is sponsored by the Knights of Columbus and the KCs will award gift cards as prizes. Winners will be announced right before our raffle prize drawing on September 13.
