Typically, this July newsletter is a recap of summer camps. Obviously, this summer was quite different with no regular summer camps. However, we have been able to use camp for family days as we mentioned in our last newsletter. Several families from the area have used camp to spend time together as a family and be able to enjoy the “normal” things of summer. We are thankful that God opened up this opportunity for families to use Camp Machasay! Also in July, we held our first pasture golf fundraiser. It was a huge success! We had nine teams compete in the fundraiser on our homemade Camp Machasay pasture golf course. One of the really neat things that came out of this event was that it brought many people to camp. It brought those who had never been to camp, some that hadn’t been out in some time, and those who regularly volunteer at camp. It was great to see familiar faces and enjoy fellowship with some friends. We had so much fun, that we are going to do it again on October 4 th . If you didn’t make it out in July (or even if you did) mark your calendars and join us in October for another fun afternoon of pasture golf. Contact me to get your team signed up! At the beginning of the summer I (Zac) felt that God was nudging me to read and study through James in my morning quiet time. So much of the book is applicable to the circumstances we are living in today. I have been particularly struck by James 2:1-7 (you should read it right now), which speaks about partiality among believers. I think James’ point in this passage is that we should not have a heart of contention and judgment toward our fellow believers. After all, we are all equal at the foot of the cross. So… mask or no mask… school buildings open or closed… and so many other issues… my prayer is that we as God’s people would show love and understanding toward one another because we all belong to the same Father. Prayer Requests & Praises The prayer focus for August is for our horse camps. As of this moment (things change rapidly as you know) our horse camps are on as scheduled for August and September. Pray for the campers, counselors, instructors, and staff as these events get closer. Please also pray for wisdom and safety in how to do camps under the current circumstances. Prayer Focus for the Month In July, we celebrated our first wedding anniversary. The year really has flown by! We are thankful that we have had each other through the roller coaster of the last few months. As we look back on the last year, we can definitely see how God’s hand has been leading and guiding us! We start school very soon, and there are still a ton of questions about how that is going to work. Please pray for our schools as they make tough decisions about how school should be done this year. Hello family and friends! We hope that you are having a great summer!

At the beginning of the summer I (Zac) felt that God was nudging me to read and study through James in my morning quiet time. Prayer Requests & Praises

The prayer focus for August is for our horse camps. As of this moment (things change rapidly as you know) our horse camps are on as scheduled for August and September. Pray for the campers, counselors, instructors, and staff as these events get closer. Please also pray for wisdom and safety in how to do camps under the current circumstances.

Prayer Focus for the Month

In July, we celebrated our first wedding anniversary.
