To be respectful, we want to share not only who is in the role, but also, why these changes were made.

First, I want to tell you the old structure was not wrong. The old structure provided the necessary support, based on the maturity of the organization. In November 2015, we started a pilot in Cincinnati to add the position of Clinic Manager. We felt we needed a leader at each clinic to ensure we could support our future strategy. In January 2016, we aggressively began rolling out the role of Clinic Manager for every region, with the exception of Virginia. We completed the rollout on April 21. Though every clinic did not have a manager, approximately 80% of our clinics had a manager in place. This was the first step in the process.

In May and June, we posted and identified leaders to fulfill the roles of National Clinical Director and Regional Clinical Director for each designated region. The benefits of the new roles allow us to now have “line-of-sight” accountability for each clinic and provide the support needed to deliver our Customer 1st Promise.

We also posted the Operations Manager positions in June. We have now identified five Operations Managers that will help us further integrate into the Kroger culture and will bring a level of business acumen to each region that we have never experienced at TLC.

The journey is not over. We still have a great deal of training, refining of processes, learning, coaching and enhancing of leadership behaviors. We are a learning organization that will always continue to search for ways to make the culture better. The majority of our organizational effectiveness moves are complete. Now, our focus must be on leading the Customer 1st Promise and excellence in execution.

Our new structure has increased the number of leaders in our organization which resulted in significant cost to our training budget. We view this cost as an investment in our greatest asset, OUR PEOPLE. I would like to thank you for helping us through all of the change we have experienced in the last six months.

On the following page, you will find our new Regional Leadership Teams.

I hope you will join me in congratulating these individuals on their new assignments and support them in their efforts to make our strategy a reality.

Q4 Co-Branded Flu Shot Campaign with Pharmacy – Sign KitFrom Chasity Auberger, Marketing Communications Manager

As mentioned in last week’s News Blast, this year we will be doing a co-branded flu shot campaign with our pharmacy partners and Feeding America. Flu shot signage should be arriving to your clinics this week. Your store’s pharmacy signage will also be included in your TLC sign kit.

Their signage will be placed in a smaller plastic bag inside the TLC kit and will contain the individual items. Some clinics will also have real estate hardware and aisle invader hardware that are individually wrapped. Please give these items to your pharmacy.

NP Betty Hahn at The Little Clinic in Mesa

I have been to the Little Clinic on multiple occasions, mainly because it is easier to get into than my primary care physician’s office. I didn’t have to wait very long to be seen by someone. The first time I went I was helped by NP Betty Hahn. She was so friendly and made me feel at ease. My symptoms were treated and I was on my way. I try to request Betty on all my return visits because she is knowledgeable and someone I can trust.

Today, I walked by on my way to the pharmacy. Betty was out front and greeted me and asked how I was doing, and how my recovery went from my last illness. Now my daughter needs some vaccinations and I will plan on bringing her to the Little Clinic. Fast, Friendly, and Helpful.
