Redhill High School is holding open auditions for the 2019 Musical Production.
The 2019 Musical is scheduled to run from 28 March – 4 April 2019.

Audition Process•First round auditions are open to everyone. We’re looking for actors, singers anddancers!•SelectONEofthesongsfromthelistbelowandrehearsewithbacktrackprovidedonGoogleClassroom.•Learnaverseandchorusoffbyheart.Donotsingoffofyourcellphone.Beprepared!•NOacapellasinging(withoutbacktrack)willbepermitted.•Abriefdance/movementroutinewillbetaught,duringtheauditionprocess.EVERYONEwillberequiredtodanceandsing.•Cutsmaybemade.

REDHILL SCHOOL’S FOOTLOOSE RECEIVES PRAISE FROM INDUSTRY GREATS
Redhill High School’s production of the hit musical, Footloose, was a sell-out success!
Based on the 1980s hit fi lm that took the world by storm, Footloose the musical sizzles with the same spirit of youth, rebellion and romance. Redhill School’s incredible cast and crew have brought the musical roaring to life, with nine sold-out shows. The feedback from audiences has been phenomenal!
Bryan Hill, GM of the Teatro at Montecasino, said: “Redhill School must surely be at the forefront of the local arts scene. Their current production of Footloose showcases an extraordinarily talented cast. I have not seen such committed and present characterisations in a school production… ever!”

What we’re asking of you...Wepromisetosupportyou indeveloping inallof therequireddisciplines,soyoucanreachyourfullperformancepotential.Butweexpectourcastandcrewtobecommittedandtobeavailable.Becommittedtorehearseontwoweekdayevenings(from17:30–20:30),Saturdays(from09:00–14:00),duringmidtermbreaksandonpublicholidays.Occasionallywewillholda“bumper-rehearsal”onaSaturday–thiswillbecommunicatedwithyouinadvance.Youwillnotberequiredtoattendeveryrehearsal–onlythosethatrelatetoyourrole.Therewillbeaholidaypre-seasonintensive,commencing7-12January2019.Thebulkoftheproductionwillbetaughtduringthisintensiverehearsal,soyourattendanceisnon-negotiable.KeepthisinmindwhenplanningyourDecember/Januaryholidays.
