What my target audience think…

Who are my ideal target

audience?My ideal target audience would be people who are interested in….

Gossip…I want my audience to take an interest in

celebrity gossip, because a lot of my

magazine will contain this.

Music…I would also like my audience to be

interested in ‘pop’ music, as my

magazine is a ‘pop’ magazine.

Fashion…My ideal target audience would

also be interested in

fashion/shopping. This is

because my magazine will

incorporate fashion tips and

advice from celebrities.

Social networking…I would like my target audience to be interested in the

social media because I will incorporate aspects of this in

my magazine. For example, ‘send a question via Twitter,

to your favourite celebrity as see if they reply!’ So my

audience would need to have some knowledge of social

networking.

Celebrities…My ideal audience would be

interested in celebrities.

Mainly ‘pop’ artists, as I will

be incorporating these types

of artists into my magazine.

What are their interests?

Hobbies…My target audience are very much interested in sports.

This can be from dancing to karate, or basketball to

football. They also like socialising with their friends,

whether this is on a sleepover, going to see a gig, going

to a party or staying in and watching TV.

What my target audience are interesting in/their hobbies…

Entertainment (TV, XBOX, Wii etc.)They take a great interest in the next Just dance that is

out, and like to know what is on TV. Programmes such as

Waterloo road and TOWIE, are only two of the many TV

shows teenagers are interested in.

Movies…Many teenagers are interested in the newest films that are

out at the cinema. Certain favourites of my target

audience are films such as Mean Girls, Dear John, The

Hunger games, Harry Potter, Paranormal activity etc.

Music…They would also be interested in

many different music genres and

styles. For example, pop, rock, heavy

metal, indie etc.

Fashion (shopping,

clothes)Teenagers nowadays are interested in looking

good. They like to know the newest trends and

like to wear designer labels such as Hollister,

Superdry, Abercrombie and Fitch etc.

Social media…They are also very interested in the social

media. Many teenagers have accounts

with sites such as MSN, Facebook,

Twitter, YouTube, ITunes, Tumblr etc.
