Audience Feedback Final Edit

We have received audience feedback on what they thought of our opening sequence. They have rated

our mise en scene, camera work, editing, and sound with either very poor, poor, OK, good, or finally

excellent.

Strengths: The continuity of editing flowed very well.Very effective use of dialogue and sound, helped to build up tension.Camera work was effective and showed clearly what was going on.

Weaknesses: The sound made the dialogue hard to hear. Overall, from this group we have received very positive feedback, with only one weakness given. One of the main things they liked was our camera work, with the dialogue hard to hear the only weakness.

Strengths: Editing and camera work is very good.Acting was good, majority of title placements were good.The font matched the theme of the film.

Weaknesses: Colour of titles sometimes clashed with the background.Dialogue difficult to understand.

Strengths: They have made it look professional. Good use of mise en scene.Creates a lot of tension.

Weaknesses: Could do more to the music to make it a bit more effective.

Strengths: Opening titles were very good (Distribution Company)Editing was good – coulour effects and flashes of light. Clear what’s happening.

Weaknesses: Voice over is not very clear.Ending could have had an effect on it to make it look better.

Conclusion

Overall, we are very happy with our feedback, our group received excellent and good from the audience with only one OK. This OK was given for the dialogue not being very clear. Unfortunately this was the best we could do as we didn’t have any high quality recording equipment for our voice over. Most felt our opening sequence looked quite professional with camera work one of our main strengths. Most groups found our main strengths were different and we got a range of results.
