Audience The genre of my magazine is indie rock, therefore the audience of my magazine is going to be young people that have a liking or interest in indie rock music. The audience of my music magazine will be 14-25 year old that are interested in indie rock music. The readers of my magazine will be in the income groups C2, D and E. Mainly younger men and women that like indie rock bands and music, they would be interested in unsigned bands and smaller less mainstream bands, they are also likely to go and see these bands live. The readers of my magazine will be expecting informal language, informal interviews with the bands that they like, they will also be expecting a number of images of their proffered bands and musicians. They may also be interested and expect reviews on bands and venues. They will engage in the magazine as it will appeal to them because its aimed at their age group and interests.
