Lot No. 1
River Aa in Nordfjord. 2 rods prime time for 3 days, Saturday 29 June 15:00 to Tuesday 2 July 15:00
The river Aa is a secluded pearl on the west coast of Norway. Fast currents and small pools makes it a challenge to fish. It holds some very big fish, and you are right – this is the river where Jack Hemingway once caught a salmon of more than 35 pounds on a dry fly. Accommodation in double room at the fine lodge located with a wonderful view over the river. All meals are included, and transport to/from airport can be organised. LOT NO. 17
River Årøy – Platforms of Despair! 2 days fishing for 4 rods, 30 – 31 August End next year‘s salmon season with you best friends fishing the jewel in the crown – Årøy river in Sognefjorden. This is a new and extremely exciting lot at the auction! This short river holds a unique history with some of the biggest rod caught salmon ever. The owners have just completed two 50‐year leases, and access to the river has been near impossible. This year, Norway‘s King Harald had a highly successful visit to Årøy, and in line with the management goals of the river, he released one of the two salmon he caught, thus contributing to the future of this mighty stock of salmon. The fishing pressure on the river is very low, and harvest of salmon is limitied. This year saw a catch of 750 kgs, with an average weight of 7 kgs. Fresh run salmon are common throughout August. The final month generally provide good fishing for medium salmon, with the chance that one of the monsters hook up, as they gradually get into a more agressive mode. This is an offer we know many will have very difficult to turn down! The Lot consists of the following:
Fishing for four rods (max four persons)
Arrival on the evening 29 August, departure on the morning of the 1 September
Two full days of fishing (30 and 31 August 2013)
Guests have the whole river at disposal
All meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) are included

Lot No. 22
West Ranga, Iceland. One rod shared on two fishers, full board and accommodation 10 – 16 July.
The story of the Ranga river is one of a highly successful stocking program, in a river system too cold to sustain self‐recruited salmon. This opening is in the early season, and while the catches are not as dreamlike as somewhat later, you are in it for some really good opportunities! The package is with fishing one rod, while accommodation and meals for two are included. The rod should therefore, in typical Icelandic fashion, be shared among two. The trip is excellent to combine with sightseeing some of the major attractions in Iceland (many located between Ranga and Reykjavik), or some more fishing! Transport to and from the airport is included. Tips for the guide and alcoholic drinks are not. Fishing is 12 hours per day: 0700 Am to 1 PM and 4 PM to 10 PM. Fishing starts at 4 PM 10 July. LOT NO. 29
Bolstad, Vosso River, up to 7 rods for three days 12 ‐ 14 August Bolstad (lower part of River Vosso) has been closed for fishing for several years and the magnificent stock of large grown salmon has been on the brink of extinction. A project involving many stakeholders has the last years worked to reestablish the native stock from a live gene bank. Last year and this year’s test fishing has given very positive indications of a recovering stock. For the 2013 season it is expected that many fish in the 30 – 40 pound range will return!
From the good old days in Bolstad. Are we able to get there again?
From the river owners in Bolstad we have had a fantastic donation of a full three days 12 – 14 August on the whole river, suitable for up to seven rods. Accommodation at the old lodge “Oddsbu” with self catering. Fishing is from 0800 AM to 2 PM and then from 4 PM to 10 PM each day. All fishing is catch and release and fly only. OBSERVE: Might be subject to cancellation if the authorities do not open the river for regular fishing (the buyer will then have the payment returned). LOT NO. 34
Repparfjordelva in July, 2 rods in all zones for 5 days, hotel accommodation at Skaidi Hotel and introductory guiding Repparfjord is one of the best salmon rivers in Finnmark, with annual catches of up to 4000 salmon. The runs are dominated by grilse, but late June and early July also see many MSW salmon. The river is extremely clear and vell suited for dry flies and hitching. Unfortunately, this river is now threatened by a mining project with a huge deposit in the fjord just outside the estuary, which might ruin both the salmon stock as well as the rich fjord ecosystem. Reddvillaksen and NASF are supporting the local NGOs fighting against the project and we urge all others who are friends of the wild salmon to do the same! This offer consists of fishing for two rods in five days free to all the zones on the river, accommodation with breakfast at Skaidi Hotel and introductory guiding. The river holds salmon all the way up to the mountains, over more than 60 km, so there is a lot of water to investigate! Dates on agreement, but the best period on the river is generally in late July. Zones are open to local anglers with a season ticket, plus a limited number of non‐resident day licences restricted to one zone only. Easy access via Alta and buyer will need a rental car which is not included in the package. Lot can be easily combined with Lakselv or Alta! Fishing this big pool can be done with 4 – 6 rods at a time. Included is the very conveniently placed and well equipped fishing lodge just on the bank of the pool. Self catering and please bring bed linens. This is probably some of the best salmon fishing there is in Norway in July and access is difficult, bordering to impossible!
