Auburn's Taste for Community Action finalizes lineup ofmore than 30 local food, beverage vendors

The Cayuga/Seneca Community ActionAgency's Taste for Community Action will turn20 Thursday with another evening of food andmusic supporting the local agency's effortsagainst poverty, domestic violence and more.

Along with more than 30 tasting vendors (listedbelow) will be music by The Golden NovakNanni Trio and jazz duo Rebecca Keefe withCarl Pickett, as well as more than 40giveaways via silent auction, raffle or doorprizes.

All told, more than 120 local businesses aresupporting the event, agency marketing directorTrish Ottley said. The agency is also expectingmore than 500 attendees.

The event takes place from 5 to 7:30 p.m.Thursday, July 16, in the ballroom andcourtyard of the Auburn Holiday Inn, 75 NorthSt., Auburn.

Tickets are $30 in advance, with a "buy five,get one free" option. Tickets at the door will be

$35. 

Proceeds from the fundraiser — the Cayuga/Seneca Community Action Agency's biggest ofthe year — will help the agency fill gaps in funding, ranging from its food pantry anddomestic violence relief to its housing, home repair and energy efficiency services.
