GENERAL DRIVING DIRECTIONS:
From Atlanta, GA
Auburn, Alabama is Approximately 118 miles southwest of Atlanta
(102 miles from the airport). By automobile the trip will take
approximately 11/2 to 2 hours.
Take I-85 South out of Atlanta and travel Approximately 118 miles and
exit the interstate at exit # 51and turn right. Then follow College
Street into Auburn.
From Birmingham, AL (via Interstate)
Auburn, Alabama is located Approximately 143 miles southeast of
Birmingham. By automobile the trip will take approximately 2 1/2 hours.
Take I-65 South out of Birmingham and travel approximately 88 miles
and exit the interstate onto I-85 North (exit 27). Take I-85 North out of
Montgomery and travel approximately 55 miles. Exit the interstate at
exit 51. Then follow College Street into Auburn.
From Birmingham, AL (via US 280)
Auburn, Alabama is located approximately 115 miles southeast of
Birmingham. By automobile the trip will take approximately 2 hours.
Take Highway US 280 East out of Birmingham and travel approximately
110 miles and exit onto Alabama Highway 147. There is a yellow
blinking light at the exit. Travel down this road (College Street) five
miles to downtown Auburn and the Auburn University Campus.
From Columbus, GA
Auburn, Alabama is located approximately 40 miles west of Columbus.
By automobile the trip will take approximately 45 minutes.
Take Highway 280 West out of Columbus and travel approximately 30
miles and exit the highway onto I-85 South at exit 62. Then take I-85
South ten miles and exit the interstate at exit 51. Then follow
College Street into Auburn.
From Montgomery, AL

Auburn Arena
The home of the Auburn University Basketball teams and Gymnas-
tics team is located at the intersection of Heisman Drive and
Beard-Eaves Court. This new state-of-the-art facility opened in
2010 and holds 9,600 fans. The Auburn Arena played host to the
1st and 2nd rounds of the 2011 Women’s NCAA Basketball Tourna-
ment, and is the host 2012 Women’s Gymnastics Regional.

VISITING TEAM PARKING:
The official visiting team bus should park in the loading dock lo-
cated on Heisman Drive just past Beard-Eaves-Court.
VISITING TEAM LOCKER ROOM:
Visiting teams and Coaches will use the locker room 1315 & 1317
located on the lower level of the Auburn Arena.
TEAM BENCH:
The visiting team will use the Northeast bench area.
PRE GAME WARM-UP:
The Auburn Arena court will be available for visiting team prac-
tice one hour prior to competition. Additionally, the court (or a
comparable facility) will be made available for visiting team for
practice and shoot around.

Auburn Basketball—Pregame Protocol Date Auburn Arena ● Time _________________________________________________________________________
Media Time-outs: Time-outs of 1:45 will be taken after the 16:00; 12:00; 8:00; 4:00 marks in each half (first horn 90 seconds, second horn 15 seconds later).
Called Time-outs: Each team receives five (5) time-outs: One (1) 60-second time-out and four (4) 30-second time-outs. Only three (3) of the 30’s may be carried over to the second half. NOTE: The first 30-second time-out of the second half will be-come a full media time-out and will not replace the next scheduled media timeout. If the first called timeout is a 60-second, then it is not extended to a media timeout.
Overtime: There is a 2-minute intermission. Each coach receives one (1) addi-tional 30-second time-out as well as any unused time-outs from the previous period. The first 30-second time-out called by a coach in each overtime period will become an electronic media time-out.
