Reflection

I have learned a great deal at Argosy University. I have learned that statistics, although not my strong suit at all, can be learned if I put my mind to it. Which brings me to my outlook on my learning here. It isn’t what I learned was special it is that, through everything that has happened, I never quit and I finished. Even the fear of death didn’t stop me from completing my assignments on time and finishing my degree for my family. I have learned that through all the diagnostics and assessments that people can still surprise you and that putting a label on a behavior is letting someone down who you might be able to help with an open mind. I have also learned that the world we live in is just a smidgen of what really exists in other minds and that one persons perspective is another’s reasoning for going on. The web of intricate beliefs, values, cultures, behaviors, reactions, actions, and contradictions to understandings that only exist in one world are truly distorted in another. This is the exciting field I have chosen to be able to be a lifelong learner and any less would not suit me.

My Future in Learning

Learning is a lifelong process. How do you envision your future as a lifelong learner?

I envisioned my whole life as a lifelong learner. The future will be filled with the same imagination and want to learn as much as possible in order to derive new ways of helping people to accomplish their goals. I have never thought I wouldn’t be able to learn something new nor would I be happy if I couldn’t. I have always seen myself as an innovator. I hope to use what I learn to innovate new ways in the new societies to help people move forward.
