Engine: The powerfuldiesel engine is designed to comply with the emissionregulation EN 97/68 stage IIIa.The Toyota gasoline engine1FZ-E provide reliable powerand productivity.

Powershift Transmission:The advanced Self-MovingHydrodynamic Drive (SMHD)gives smooth yet powerfulacceleration response.The SMHD features a singlespeed in both forward andreverse, helping to reducework for the operator.

DURABILITYHydraulic Circuit:

A tandem oil pump equippedwith a flow control valve isused. The torque converterpowers the pump, and thearrangement of the hydraulicpiping helps minimizepressure loss together withpreventing excessive rises inthe temperature of thehydraulic oil, boosting the lifes-pan of hydraulic components.

The shift lever can be operatedwith just the finger tips,boosting handling efficiencywhile reducing operator fatigue.

PERFORMANCE

Air Intake: To ensure asupply of clean air for theengine, a snorkel air intake islocated on the upper portingof one of the pillars for theoperator’s headguard. An 8"cyclone air cleaner featuringoutstanding air cleaning efficiency is used. A warning

light on the IntegratedMonitoring Center tells theoperator when the elementneeds cleaning.

SERVICEABILITYEngine Hood: The engine

hood is completely sealed formaximum comfort, and opensfully to a wide 85°. A hooddamper reduces the effortneeded to open the hood.

Radiator Cover: A sealeddesign is used for the radiatorcover as well, and easy accessis assured by the handydamper, which makes openingand closing the cover a snap.

COMFORTInstruments: All controls

and pedals are laid out foroptimized ease of use. Thelayout of meters and gaugesin an integrated combinationpanel makes it simple tomonitor functioning at aglance, and the greater varietyof meters used assures a better awareness of vehiclestatus at all times. A multifunc-tion display available as optionblinks and beeps to alert driv-ers that the truck has exceedthe preset speed.

Driving Area:A comfortable space withplenty of room is ensured forthe operator. Combined with thefloating power train and body,this makes for an area highlyconductive to operations withoutstanding accuracy and safety.

Steering: The small-diameter steering wheel andfully hydraulic steering systemassure outstanding handlingwith minimum effort. The activesteering synchronisers alignsthe position of the steering wheelwith the position of the wheelsso that the driving knob is alwaysin the same position in relationto the wheels. The aim: a safeand confortable driving position.

Pedals: Fatigue is minimized through the use of floor-mounted pedals.

Seat: This side-wing andseat-belt equipped OperatorRestraint System (ORS) seatwraps the operator in both safetyand comfort. It offers step-lessadjustment 120 mm (4.7 in.)longitudinally and is comple-mented by the small-diametersteering wheel on a tiltable col-umn. A suspension seat is optionally available.
