    With 25 years of experience in professional pilot training, Cannes Aviation Academy based at Cannes-Mandelieu airport, offers all the necessary training to become a Pilot Commercial or Line Officer Pilot in the form of training modules, to be carried out according to your needs and availabilities. The academy also offers its new training module necessary to obtain the 14 theoretical ATP certificates: the theoretical ATPL(A) training, which thus complements the other modules taught by the school; PPL-SEP training and CPL-MEP-IRME training. This provides you with the ability to achieve your goal of becoming an Airline or Commercial Pilot with complete flexibility.

    The theoretical courses are under the responsibility of the Chief Theoretical Knowledge Instructor (CTKI). They are provided in English, using multimedia course material, by experienced instructors (Theoretical Knowledge Instructors). All the material, including access to 16 eBooks covering the 14 subjects taught, is provided. The

    teaching includes lectures and practical courses. All courses are under periodical continuous assessment

    (Mid-terms and Finals). The students can also train at any time via the database of Aviation Exam questions. At the end of each course, the exams are organized by the DGAC in Paris, Toulouse, Aix-en-Provence…

    What are the regulatory requirements for theoretical ATPL(A) training? Have a valid PPL(A) License, recognized by ICAO.

    What are the specific requirements of Cannes Aviation Academy? Submit an application file to access the selection tests; Meet the selection tests in the form of MCQs for: Arithmetic, Physics, English plus an

    individual interview. Total duration 3 hours. We provide annals to prepare; The required level of English is TOEFL Papers (500), TOEIC (600).

    We propose individual or small group upgrading courses; Be no more than 30 years old.

    What are the duration of the training and the dates of the training sessions? The training lasts 10 months; 3 sessions per year: January to December or May to April or September to June; Students in the ATPL(A) theoretical training follow the same theoretical courses

    as students in the ATPL(A) integrated "ab initio" training.

    Who are the instructors (TKI) who teach the modules? The Ground Instructors or TKIs are 8 to teach the 14 modules in English; All are aviation professionals; Captain or Pilot Officer, with between 5,000

    and 20,000 flight hours plus a forecast meteorologist; Our TKIs obtained a 17/20 satisfaction rate from students for their teaching in 2018 and 2019 (16/20 in 2017).

    What are the regulatory requirements for theoretical ATPL(A) training? 92% of our students obtain their certificates on the first attempt of their exam; 98% on 2 attempts and 100% on 3 attempts at most; Companies look to success at first attempt with interest.

    How much does the theoretical ATPL(A) training at Cannes Aviation Academy cost? Registration and supply costs: 1,500€. Including: 16 eBooks, Uniform (1 parka, 2 pants,

    6 shirts, 2 sweaters, tie + clip, belt), Pooley's CRP-5 computer, Jeppesen calculator student route manual, Aviation Exam subscription, professional pilot bag;

    Schooling 750 hours of instruction plus 50 hours of tests (mid-terms and finals): 11,500€; Not included: iPad or laptop, DGAC exam fees (970€, except job seeker).

    How do I split the payment of my training? 1,500€ to be paid upon registration and then; 5,750€ before the start of the course and; 5,750€, 6 months after the beginning of the course.

    What is the training after obtaining the 14 theoretical certificates? The CPL-MEP-IRME modular system, which requires approximately 6 months of training, This training, followed by Multi Crew Cooperation (MCC) training, then allows you
