Cross Over to New Technology with LSI

In an effort to improve its customers’ drive-thru experience, as well as the overall effi ciency of its lighting system, a major U.S. bank company decided to upgrade the lighting in the drive-up area. Partnering with LSI Industries, they elected to explore LSI’s LED lighting solutions.

The bank’s goal was to improve the effi ciency and reduce the maintenance of their drive-up canopy lighting system. The existing system utilized twelve (12) 175-watt metal halide fi xtures which were constantly losing performance over time. This was visible by the color shifting and various lamp outages. They wanted a light source that would give them long life, even distribution and little to no maintenance.

To accomplish this, we chose the Ambient 50 fi xture for the drive-up areas and the Focus for the ATM in a one for one replacement. Using eleven (11) Ambient 50 fi xtures and one (1) Focus, the Ambient 50provided great uniform lighting under the canopy while theFocus delivered light directly to the vertical surface of theATM. In addition to dramatically improving the overall lighting, the system reduced maintenance and delivereda 70% energy savings. The system is currently being testedaround the country.
