We have full ISO 9001:2008 certification, which like all our certificates, can be viewed and downloaded from our website.
HEALTH & SAFETYTo-date, Atlantic Pacific Marine has a zero accident rate. To ensure that we maintain this exceptional standard, we insist that all teams undergo regular, rigorous H&S training. We have attained OHSAS 18001:2007 and we set our selves annual H&S objectives, developing a framework which is integrated into our QMS. We measure our performance against these objectives on a regular basis throughout the year.
ENVIRONMENTALAtlantic Pacific Marine is committed to achieving the highest possible environmental standards. We have ISO 14001:2004 accreditation, and regularly undergo audits and management reviews to make sure that our environmental targets are met.
Our Environmental Policy is mandatory for all staff, and is introduced to each new employee during their induction process.Much of our work is dedicated to improving our customers’ environmental systems, too. We install ballast water systems, for example. Also we supply, install, maintain and repair exhaust gas scrubbers. Uniquely within the marine engineering industry, we use innovative wire saw technology, which considerably lessens the environmental impact of our projects.
OUR HISTORY AND FACILITIESAtlantic Pacific Marine was founded in 2010 by Leroy Bishop, Phillip Rodrigues, and David Hale. Its sister company is LME, which provides industrial engineering services to multinationals such as Dow Corning.
The company is headquartered in Cardiff, with further sites conveniently located near Barry Docks. At these locations, Atlantic Pacific Marine has five large workshops, each one fully equipped to the highest standards in order to facilitate the company’s manufacturing and fabrication processes.
