• TheProfessionalLiabilityprogramwasmadeavailabletomembersin1987.Thisplaninsuresyouagainstclaimsresultingfromtheperformanceofyourprofessionalservices.NDGAAwasfundamentalinestablishing,pro-moting&endorsingthisprogram.

• ContinuingeducationalworkshopandCertificationtestingwerelaunchedin1988.Oureducationalprogramsareanimportantadditiontothepetgroomingindustry.With20+workshop/testingsitesconductedannually,NDGAAboaststhebusiestandmostimpressivescheduleofactivitiesthananyotherorganization.

• ThefirsteditionoftheOfficialNDGAAMembershipDirectorywasprintedin1990.Withnearly2,600namesandaddressesofRegisteredandCertifiedmembersthisdirectoryisagreattoolforrecommendingmembersforyourrelocatingclients,enablesyoutocommunicatewithothermembersandservesasanaidinpolicingadvertisinginfringementinyourarea.TheNDGAAMembershipDirectoryisprintedbiannually.

• Webegantheprocessoffederallyregisteringtwoofourwellrecognizedandlongusedservicemarksin1991,thedog/stripedpolelogoandtheNationalCertifiedMasterGroomer®phrase.RegistrationofthesemarkswillprovidethelegalleveragetoenforceourrightsandstopunauthorizeduseofthelogoandNCMGphrase.Inthiswaywecanensurethatoursymbol&certificationsignifythehighestqualitygroomingservicesavailableandthatthesehighstandardsaremaintainedforthefutureoftheprofession.Registrationofthesemarkswasgrantedin1993.
