Linguistics focuses on the study of language structure, language variation and history, use of language in society and learning of language.

LINGUISTICS

Strong proficiency with foreign language required

Linguistics is primarily an academic field, with career opportunities in university teaching and research. Some people teach English as a Second Language.

Graduate school is required for entry level positions and acceptance is competitive.

HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT

Program focuses on the development, implementation, management and maintenance of patient health information systems in accordance with legal, regulatory and accrediting agencies requirements for healthcare data collection and dissemination.

certification for Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) examination.

THERAPEUTIC RECREATION

Promote play, recreation and leisure as a means to psychological and physical recovery as well as health and well-being among individuals with disabilities

120 Volunteer Hours, 65 of which must be completed prior to the first internship

THERAPEUTIC RECREATION

A National Certified Recreational Therapist may work with people with spinal cord injuries, aphasia, or a variety of other physical or mental disabilities.
