Cappriccios is a three generations family run traditional Italian restaurant in Maleny, the Heart of the

Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Our family migrated to Australia from a little town in Italy called AcqueVive in

1960, where upon they opened the first pizzeria in Elizabeth Street in Brisbane called Pizza Napoli. From

there the family business expanded to Alderley where the three brothers ran Pizza Napoli successfully for

many years. At this point our family moved to beautiful Maleny and revitalised Cappriccios takeaway

before moving to the little piece of Italy you find yourself in. Today we have been in this location catering to

Maleny locals and tourists since 1995.

Our family has come a long way since the days of our Nonno herding cows and cooking pizza on hot stone

in the mountains of Italy. We are very proud of our family heritage and hold Nonnos stories of adventure

in very different time, and Nonnas old traditional recipes close to our hearts. We are so pleased we can

share this with our customers in the way of freshly made pizza dough and house sauces made daily.

We always aim to supply our patrons with locally sourced produce as well as providing organic

homegrown goodness straight from the family vege garden.

So welcome to Cappriccios! The taste of Italy with the feeling of home.
